Days passed as the wind blew. One fine weekend at the Mehra's house, everyone was chit-chatting when the topic of marriage came up.

Parveen ma: "We want to get Aman married!"

Chandhi: "Yes, we want to have his marriage now itself because he is the eldest son in the family."

Junaid pa: "First, we want to ask his opinion."

At that moment, Aman entered the room.

Aman: "What's happening?"

Aryan: "Fog is happening!"

Aman glared at him, and Chandhi patted his head while everyone else laughed.

Parveen ma: "Aman beta, actually, we are discussing your marriage."

Aman was shocked.

Aman: "Ma, why suddenly? What is the need to get me married so soon?"

Junaid pa: "Aman, is this soon? You are the eldest son in the family, so you should get married before the rest."

Aman: "Yes, pa, but I'm not ready for marriage now."

Amir: "Why, Aman? Are you in love with someone?"

Aman shook his head nervously in the negative.

Parveen ma: "Then what's the problem, Aman?"

He didn't say anything and left from there.

Junaid pa: "We should start searching for a bride. Then he'll accept."

Everyone nodded and got engrossed in their own work.

On the other side, the Seghal house is shown. Kabir was opening up about his and Aliya's relationship.

Kabir: "Pa, we love each other so much, so please accept our relationship."

Asad was thinking about what to do.

Roshni: "Yes, pa, Aliya is a sweet and caring person. She is the best choice for bhai. We also know her well, so please accept this!"

Asad glanced at Salma, silently asking through his eyes what they should do. She nodded her head in agreement, and finally, Asad said okay to them.

Kabir became very happy. He hugged his father and said, "Thank you, pa." Roshni and Salma smiled seeing them.

Kabir informed Aliya about this, and she also informed her brother, who accepted their relationship because he knew Kabir and Asad's families well. Since they were relatives of Aman, they fixed the engagement.

Days passed, and the Mehra family showed many brides to Aman, but he rejected all of them with lame excuses.

Asad's family went to invite the Mehra family for the engagement. They were all sitting and talking, except for Aman. Roshni's eyes were searching for him, but he was not there.

Suddenly, her heart rate increased, and then Aman came downstairs with a smile. Roshni stared at him without blinking, but he did not look at her once. He sat beside Kabir.

Aman: "Congratulations, Kabir! You're going to marry the love of your life." Kabir blushed, and everyone teased him. The elders laughed, but Roshni could only see her Aman.

Parveen ma: "I forgot to mention that we are also searching for a bride for Aman. Soon, he will also get married."

Asad pa: "Wow, that's a great idea. Find someone soon, and then we'll plan his wedding too."

Everyone was happy except for two people.

Roshni sat there like a statue after what Parveen ma said. Her tears were on the edge, and she excused herself and left immediately. Aman noticed the direction she was going, but then he got engrossed in his talks.

Aman's heart ached as he watched Roshni leave the room; maybe her unspoken emotions weighed heavily on his own heart.

He had long kept his feelings for Roshni hidden, afraid that he may lose her. But seeing her like this, he realized the depth of his own love; he couldn't bear to continue pretending.

As the days passed, Kabir and Aliya's marriage preparations were going on full swing. On the other side, the Mehras chose a girl for Aman. Everyone was behind him all day and night.

One fine morning at the breakfast table

Parveen: "Please, Aman, just once meet Zara. She is a beautiful and nice girl."

Aman sighed as he had been hearing this for the past few days.

Aman: "Ma, please, I don't want to get married now."

Chandhi: "Listen to us. She is a good and nice girl."

Aman sighed and nodded. The whole family was very happy at his decision. Aman prepared himself for the meeting with Zara, knowing that it would be a turning point in his life.

He hoped that by moving forward with the arranged marriage process, he could somehow protect Roshni from the turmoil in his heart.

However, he couldn't escape the teasing and playful jabs from his mischievous siblings.
