"Holy shit-" Hoseok exclaimed as he watched Taehyung practicing his aim. The boys were in the spacious field behind the mansion. After surviving that terrifying ordeal, Taehyung felt the need to improve his shooting skills since he wasn't particularly skilled.

"Taehyung, I think you've practiced enough for now. You've been at it for two hours," Namjoon said, watching the younger boy who seemed unfazed by his words. Taehyung loaded the rifle in his hands and focused on the distant target before pulling the trigger.

Jimin stood there entertained, his hands tucked in his jeans pockets as he carefully noted the number of times Taehyung missed the target and the number of successful shots.

"Can I give it a try?" Yoongi asked nervously, chuckling, as he wanted to experience holding a real gun and shooting at the target. It seemed cool. His eyes sparkled with excitement as Taehyung nodded. How awesome- Taehyung handed him the rifle and walked over to stand beside Jungkook.

Yoongi adjusted his position slightly, closing his left eye as he carefully aimed at the target and pulled the trigger.

Miss.

Hoseok and Jin erupted in laughter, mocking each other's poor shooting skills. Jin, with a scornful chuckle, took the rifle and positioned himself. Although the bullet hit the board, it missed the bullseye.

Jimin brazenly taunted. "Come on, it's not that difficult to aim perfectly." He confidently grabbed the rifle and loaded it with scattered bullets from the nearby table.

He fired four consecutive shots, all hitting the bullseye with precision. A self-satisfied grin formed on Jimin's lips as the other boys applauded his consistency.

"Wow, Jimin, I never expected you to be this impressive," Yoongi remarked, but his excitement was quickly tempered by the realization that Nayeon and Mark had died and their lives were still in danger. The question of what to do next hung heavy in the air.

"Let's go inside. It looks like rain is on the way," Taehyung suggested, looking up at the gray clouds obscuring the sun. The others agreed, and all seven of them entered the mansion and gathered in the middle of the hall.

"Jungkook," Mrs. Jeon emerged from an upstairs bedroom and descended the stairs, approaching her son with deliberate steps. With concern evident on her face, she advised him- "Itis important that you transfer to a different university immediately. Unfortunately, they have uncovered the location of your current institution." Standing before her son, she gently caressed his cheek and added. "Plus, you may consider pursuing homeschooling as an alternative."

"Are you asking me to flee after endangering everyone's lives? Two students have already died because of me, and now you want me to escape? Again?" Jungkook frowned at the foolish suggestion his mother had just given him. The woman also frowned, unable to come up with a response.

Jungkook continued to speak instead of his mother. "What if I run away and they return, endangering everyone in their path when they don't find me?" Guilt and regret consumed him, his heart racing in his chest. His stomach churned uncomfortably as he recalled the events of the previous day.

"Jungkook, I'm saying this for your own good..." his mother whispered in a small voice, looking down at the tiled floor when Jungkook's powerful gaze remained on her. Jungkook was right, there was no doubt about that. However, it was not her fault if she prioritized her son's safety above everything else in this world, right?

"She's correct, Diamond. It's not advisable for you to endanger yourself for the sake of others," Taehyung's statement was interrupted by Jungkook interjecting, "And yet, you were the one who took my place and was on the verge of facing the bullets." Irritated, Jungkook rolled his eyes and turned toward his boyfriend, who responded with a raised eyebrow while maintaining eye contact.
