"The human mind is amazing, don't you think?"
The sudden thought of his friend surprised Hoseok. "What?"
Yoongi sighed, thinking that the statement might have gone out of his friend's understanding boundary. "Nothing."
Should I tell him that I saw Jaehyuk? The strange thing is. . .
"Hello, my fellow side-chicks." Bit-Na put her hand around both of their shoulders. She's about one centimeter taller than Yoongi, making it not so hard for her to reach Hoseok's shoulders. "You're too tall, Na."
Bit-Na just smirked in a silly way, "Well, SOMEONE has to be tall here, ya'know?" Yoongi glared at the both of them who're laughing their lungs out. "Anyways -" She continued,
"What were you talking about?" She took out the granola bar from her bag and started munching on it. "Well, our dear friend here was talking all philosophically about his dumb mind or something."
"Really?" Bit-Na faced Yoongi. He didn't like the fact that Hoseok just called his mind 'dumb'. "What is it, Mini?"
"Nothing." He's really not the talkative kind. "Come on, just spill it!" Both of them started pestering him on talking about what's in his mind. But Yoongi just continued keeping his gaze on the ground as he was walking towards his classroom, without saying anything.
Soon they reached their classrooms. Bit-Na is in the room next to them, whereas Yoongi and Hoseok are in the same class. Just as they were about to enter their rooms, a teacher suddenly yelled out at one of the students in Bit-Na's room. "Sheesh, such a way to start a 'good' morning."
Hoseok peeked inside her classroom but quickly took his head out, "Pfft. Good luck with your homeroom teacher today, Na." Yoongi and Hoseok gave her a fake pitying look. "Shut the fuck up."
"Who was the teacher yelling at? Did you see?" Yoongi asked Hoseok who was too busy taking out his notebooks from his bag. "Oh, I don't know. I couldn't see their face."
"I think the teacher just woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning or something." He let out a slight chuckle. "Yeah, the teachers do be like that sometimes." Yoongi laughed, adding a pinch of sarcasm in his sentence.
Soon the homeroom teacher came in their classroom. He started to call out the rolls of the students, writing down whoever is absent.
---
"You do know that I know that you're hiding something?" Hoseok himself looked surprised by the way he just said it. "What?" Yoongi looked confused.
"Stop playing dumb. Tell me what's up." Yoongi looked around, searching for a way to avoid the situation. "Dude."
He looks serious... Should I tell him? But..
"Earth to Yoongles?" Yoongi snapped out of his thoughts. "Fine. I'll tell you."
"Good choice, my brother." Hoseok gave him a proud look. Who is he, my mom?
"Okay, so.. I met that errand-boy of Miya." Yoongi looked perplexed. "Really? And? Did he attack you?" He scowled at Hoseok, getting a chuckle in return.
