The day went by as usual for everyone, except for Yoongi.

"Yoongi, can you please bring me the music sheets from the music room? I forgot it in the class, dear." Miss Han, the music teacher requested him sweetly. He was the first student to go past her and so she tapped his shoulder.

It was already the end of classes for them. Yoongi nodded and signalled Hoseok to go home first, but he said that he'll wait for Yoongi instead. They had a slight battle with their eyes, adamant on standing their ground. But Yoongi wasn't the type to continue their glaring competition any longer, so they both agreed with Hoseok's idea with a thumbs up, going their separate ways.

As Yoongi was going to the classroom, he heard a faint melody. It didn't take him much time to understand what kind of melody it was, someone's playing the piano, he thought.

The more his feet took him closer to the room, the more he got drawn in. At one point he almost felt like running and opening the door just to see who it was. But he held in the urge and slowly trudged towards the room, as if he was on a spell, hypnotised.

He stood in front of the door. The sound of the piano being heard rather loudly than usual. He didn't know if it was because it was being really beautifully played, or was it just because he was curious to see who was playing it like that, but he couldn't hold himself back anymore from discovering the serene scene behind the door. "It's Clair De Lune.." he muttered out, still thinking if he should move forward or not.

The thought that his sudden intrusion might disturb the person inside kept running in his head. But, as curiosity kills the cat, he just slid open the door anyways, with a hinge of excitement in his eyes. He felt his heart jumping when he saw someone he wasn't expecting at all. It's him.

He was standing there in silence, not wanting to disturb him in the slightest. He was surprised, but he wasn't shocked, debating on the thought if he really wanted the person to be Park Jimin or not.

I mean, why.. was I surprised and not at the same time? He questioned himself from his mind, "Maybe because he didn't look like the type to be into piano-"

The immediate next part of the piano piece made him stop overthinking. He shut out his mind and kept his gaze in front, following the trail of the other's hands.

Jimin's hands moving gracefully on the piano, a small stripe of sunlight falling on top of them. Without a thought, he knew that he actually loved playing the said instrument by the way his hand moved, and face beamed. The curtains dancing from the breeze, playing with his bangs a bit too. Yoongi watched as the said boy slightly shook his head to remove the few strands of hair that were covering his eyes. Guess he needs a haircut. He unconsciously felt himself smiling at the sight. The melody felt even more breathtaking to him than it originally was.

Only years of training could leave someone with such breathtaking longing for it. To Yoongi, there was not a single reason to not like the playing, rather he loved it. He felt his eyes flickering a bit with the thought of the boy in front of him to be even better than himself. He couldn't shake off the feeling of melancholy whenever his eyes met with the other's hands, reminding himself all over again on why he's so obsessed with the piano. Jimin's face felt full of adoration and satisfaction, making Yoongi think once again, He really does love playing it.
