Summary: This story is a human au short story where Hayley used to date Klaus for 2 year during her second year of High school but soon they end things because of an unknown event and he leaves town. Hayley then finds out that her ex is back in town.
Hayley's Pov:
I was in my locker when a bunch of nerds went up to me asking me to join their book club, i rudely rolled my eyes and said " no, now run away" with my hands I made a bye bye motion and the girls looked down with a pout and left.
I know i'm a bitch but who can blame me, I've been popular since I stepped in this school, people took my kindness as an advantage but I was a kid, I was 14 now i'm 17 and I know better.
I saw my my blonde blue eyed best friend walking towards me, she was wearing a red blouse that showed off her breast with blue jeans with boot heels.
" What did you do to those freshmen's" She said walking towards me.
" I did nothing, i just refused to join their stupid book club" I said slamming my locker. Rebekah my best friend since 1st grade looked like she was going to say something but we got distracted when we saw a group of girls talking about a hot guy.
I looked at Rebekah's blue eyes and we in changed smirks and walked over to where the 'hot stuff' was at, after looking around we saw a huge crowd of girls giggling and flirting with a blonde guy who i couldn't see.
I walked over to my good friends, Bonnie, Elena, and Katherine. " who's the hot stuff" i said trying to see who the mystery guy was.
" Ah i don't know, i can barely see anything" Bonnie said pushing a girl out of her way.
Rebekah stayed beside me trying to see, when a girl stepped on Rebekah's foot.
" Excuse me, you goody goody whore" Rebekah yelled at the girl.
" who you calling a whore, whore" the girl yelled back.
" I'll show you who's a whore" Rebekah said punching the girl in her nose.
I stood back and watched Rebekah tangling the girl to the floor and punching her, soon the crowd started looking at Rebekah and the girl, they started pulling out their phones as I rolled my eyes and saw one of the counselor run towards the crowd.
she grabbed Rebekah and pulled her off and started heading to the office.
The crowd put their attention back on the 'hot stuff'. I took the chance and started pushing people out of my way.
When I finally saw who it was I felt my heart drop to my ass.
I furiously walked over to the 'hot stuff' and saw him flirting wit some random girl.
" What the hell are you doing here" I said getting everyone's attention.
He turned his attention to me and gave me his dirty,cocky, and surpassingly hot, smirk that he does.
" I go to school here" he replied with his thick British accent.
" I know that asshole, but I thought you where sent to some military school" I said looking into his blue eyes.
" I was in a military school, I'm guessing everyone who's here are new" he said pointing out that half of the new freshmen's and sophomores that where fancying over him.
Klaus was one of the hot guys 2 years ago and I guess he still is, he was twins with Rebekah that's why they look alike but he is 20 minutes older than her.
That doesn't stop him from acting like a dick to her.
His older brothers Finn and Elijah where nice and kind, his younger brother Kol was a play boy all he try to accomplish is to get into girls pants.
