I run as fast as I can away from that room.

It wasn't because I was scared, I just really wanted to go snuggle in my pillow and scream as loud as I could!

There's a difference.

I wonder the house, eventually getting myself lost. I realize that I don't have my bag, nor my phone.

This is just amazing....

I push past people, trying to find the room I initially was in. I finally find it, and run towards the table containing snacks and drinks. I scan over the table, and don't see my stuff. I try to stay calm, as I fill with anxiety.

Coco probably has it.

Just go home.

I decide to just forget about my stuff, and leave.

As I'm looking for an exit, I bump into someone; causing me to land on the ground.

I look up to see, it's Gavin Magnus.

" Oh my gosh, I-I'm so sorry." I say, confused with the sudden stuttering.

" No, it's fine. Are you ok?" He says, helping me up.

" Yeah, just looking for a way to leave this stupid party."

I cover my mouth, and immediately apologize.

" OH MY GOD- I'm so sorry, It's not stupid, It's the best party I've been too- well the only party I've been too bu-"

Gavin laughs.

" I'll help you find the exit!" He said.

He holds his hand out for me to grab, but I ignore it.

He pulls his hand back, and motions for me to follow him. As we walk, I quickly understand why he held his hand out earlier. This place was packed! I try to keep up with Gavin, when someone grabs my arm.

" Hey Piper, where you going?" A very drunk Lev says.

" get off of me" I say, yanking my arm away from him.

" Pipeeeeerrrrr I love you so much" He says, now pulling me close to him.

" Lev, get off of her!" Gavin appears, separating us.

" I love her so much!!! She's so cute Gavin!"

" I know buddy, I know. But remember, she has . Cooties.."

Lev gasps. He starts running like a maniac, screaming random gibberish.

" You okay?"

" Uh yeah." I say, blushing at the fact Gavin agreed that I was cute.

WHY THE HELL AM I BLUSHING?

I blush even more, at the fact that I'm blushing (idk the logic behind that). Luckily the colored flashing lights hid my red face.

He held his hand out again, and this time I accept it.

He leads me out the house, the cool breeze hitting my face. We continue walking till I reach Coco's car.

" shit." I say to myself, looking at the ground.

" what's wrong?"

" I can't take Coco's car. She needs to be able to get home, and I can't even drive without an adult present." I say, rolling my eyes at the thought.

" I can take you home." Gavin says, a smile plastered across his face.

" no thanks, I'll just walk." I say.

" I'm not letting walk home this late at night. It's not safe!"

" well apparently, neither is your party." I say under my breath.

" huh?"

" listen, I barely know you! Who's to stop you if you decide to kidnap me?"

He laughs slightly.

" Don't you think if I want to do that, I'd of took you to my basement, instead of helping you find Coco's car?" He says, now leaning on Coco's car.

I feel my breath get tight in my chest.

I don't know why, but everything he just did was so..... Hot.

A blush creeps over my cheeks, and I quickly try to hide it.

This just made the boy smile more than he already was.

" Did I make you blush, Piper Rockelle?"

" Are you asking me cause you're blind, Gavin Magnus?" I say, coming off a bit flirtatious. I meant it to be sassy, but whatever.

He laughs, and motions for me to follow him.

So I do.

" Where do you live?" He says, buckling his seatbelt.

" Oh um... I live near the Whole Foods. It's not to far from here." I say, picking at my nails.

As he drives, I can't help but feel bad about leaving Coco alone. I mean, she's in a house full of strangers. What if something happens?

Oh shit.

What if Walker hurts her?

I snap out of my daze, when I felt Gavin's hand grab mine. I realize that he's stopping me from picking at my fingers.

" Is everything okay?" He asks, once we get to a red light; so he could make eye contact.

I turn my head to him.

" yeah, I'm good." I say, giving a small smile.

" Piper..."

" hm?" I hum back.

" Why is there a hand mark on your neck?"
