" Why would he do that???" Gavin says.

I knew he would react like this.

I mean- It's not that serious! Sure, my dad jumped out a two story building for a slice of cheese-

But he only broke his arm!

" I mean, I'd do the same for some tiramisu" I shrug, sipping my lemonade.

" Oh so I see.... Crazy runs in the family." Gavin mumbles, but I still hear it. I laugh, and steal his fries.

" HEYHEYHEY- NO NEED TO GET VIOLENT!!!" He yells, as I stuff all his fries in my mouth.

He pouts, and crosses his arms.

" Owl by ou ore" I say, with my mouth full.

" So you skipped school to hang out with Gavin." Coco says.

" Pretty much."

".......and your sure yall didn't do anything...sus?"

" COCO-"

" I'm just saying!" She says, putting her hand up defensively.

I throw a pillow at her.

" He's my friend."

" mhm sure- Wanna go out with me?"

" Where?" I say, gathering all my stuffed animals.

I put them in a huge pile on my bed, then yeet myself at them.

" Javon invited us to join him and his siblings at The Sugar Factory!!! Isn't that so sweet???" Coco says, hearts filling her eyes.

I stop and think.

Could be fun....

" I guess."

" Great!" She says, grabbing my arm.

She suddenly starts running, making me trip over my own feet.

I collapse on my bed.

Just as I thought, the whole time Coco and Javon were just flirting with each other. And Jaden- Don't even get me started on that kid! All he wanted to talk about was baseball, and when I brought something up that didn't involve it, he'd lose his mind! I'm just glad she's not here right now, cause if she was she'd definitely talk up a storm about how he's " so hot and has a sharp jawline".

As I lay on my bed, one person roams my mind.

I wonder what Gavin's doing?

Is he bored?

I'm bored.

How does his hair look right now?

Has his lips always looked so soft?
