They both admit they weren't close and felt just co-workers from the start. When picking the visual spot, the two fought for it. But eventually Evie got the position and felt bad that Yoona didn't also get it, she asked the CEO if Yoona can also have that spot. Thankfully though.. He agreed and the two officially have that position. That situation made the two slowly become close, as of SNSD's 15th anniversary year, they are now close friends!
