After the Embrace The Void ending, Hallownest is almost fully brought to it's former majesty. Due to the loss of the Pale King Centeries beforehand, a new king has arisen and taken their place on the throne.
However, as Hallownest has done in the not so distant past, something shall begin to shift and change.
"I've got more paper work for you to full out." Hornet called out. She was walking over with a large stack of papers larger than her torso, which made the usually agile bug sway with each step.
"Put it in the pile..." The dark one muttered. "Why do w-... I, have to be the king again? This is so much worrrrrk" they wondered aloud.
"Little Ghost. We've talked about this before. I have to take over being the Queen of Deepnest, and Hollow can't talk." Hornet snapped while Hollow gave a pitying wave.
"And besides..." Hornet continued as Hollow helped Ghost move stacks of papers into neater stacks, "there aren't any Wyrms in the world either, nonetheless Hallownest... so you're our best choice...."
