3rd Person POV

*********************

Julie, as Y/N found out while being shown around the school, is very joyful, a ray of sunshine, and extremely energetic. She had practically dragged Y/N by the wrist around the school in her excitement at the new student.

By the first ten minutes, Y/n was struggling to keep their breakfast in after the twists and turns and speed of being dragged by Julie, and they still had no idea where their classes were.

As of currently, Julie was showing Y/N each of the club rooms, even introducing them to some of her friends. It was overwhelming for them to say the least, but they could handle it, maybe.

Their first class was underwhelming to say the least, they'd hope that Julie was at least in their class so that they'd have somebody that was somewhat familiar to sit with, instead, they awkwardly choose a seat at the back corner of the room, keeping to themself as the teacher walks into the room, shutting the door behind him as he begins his lesson, much to Y/N's relief, he doesn't acknowledge them.

The lesson goes by painstakingly slowly, at some point Y/N's thoughts drift off and they stop paying attention. They're only snapped from their thoughts once the bell goes, they collect their things, picking their bag up and walking out of the class.

Their second class was the same, although one of Julie's friends saw them and invited them to sit with him, which they did, although they didn't talk through the lesson.

At lunch, Julie's friend, Darchi, who was the human embodiment of pink and pastel, but in a non-eyesore kind of way, took them to where everyone sat, everyone being Julie's friend group.

There were four(4) people, Julie herself, Darchi, some brunette with demon horns, and a girl with purple skin. Y/N wasn't the most normal looking themself, but Julie's friends were something else, even so, it was a decently normal group, except the girl with the horns, Y/N isn't sure what the deal is with her, but she's looking at pictures on Darchi's phone, both girls giggling and Darchi is twirling her hair.

Y/N takes a seat next to Julie, who greets them with a bright smile before speaking.

"Ah! Y/N, meet the girlies, Bec," she points to the girl with demon horns. "Darchi," Julie says while pointing to Darchi, "and Jackie!" Julie says while pointing to the girl with purple skin, all the girls wave to Y/N, Bec and Darchi returning to looking at Darchi's phone and giggling. Jackie is on the phone with somebody by the name of 'Howdy', at least, that's what she called them, Y/N wasn't sure.

Julie begins telling Y/N about the school, which groups to avoid, what teachers are bad and good, in her opinion, as well as what classes are harder than the others.

About halfway through lunch, Darchi speaks to Y/N.

"So Y/N, what do you think of the school so far?" Darchi asks with a warm smile, looking up from her phone, making Bec and Jackie look up at them too.

"Oh, it's alright, I haven't had any interesting things happen yet, aside from meeting you all, which was nice." Y/N said with a sheepish smile.

"Awe! It was nice to meet you too Y/N!" Bec cheers, Y/N getting shocked from the sudden difference in accent, though, they couldn't quite place where it was from.

"Oh, yea, I'm glad you welcomed me into your group." Y/N chuckles, rubbing the back of their head.

"OH!" Julie exclaims before turning to Jackie. "Should we introduce them to the others, or wait a little?" She asked with a smile, Jackie humming in thought.

"I'd say wait a week or two, we'll also have to talk to the others about it." Jackie said thoughtfully before nodding to herself, hanging up the phone and turning her attention to Darchi as both began talking about their assessments and assignments.

Bec looks over to Y/N and notices they have no food. "Oh Y/N, did you not bring anything to eat?" She asks as she gets out her lunch box, opening it to reveal a multitude of snacks and a sandwich, holding it out for Y/N to take something.

"Oh, no that's ok, I have my own-" Y/N is stopped mid sentence as they open their bag, only to have realised they forgot their lunch. They chuckled softly and closed their bag. "Nevermind, I must have forgotten it, but it's alright, I wouldn't want to take your food from you." They said with a small laugh.

Bec could only smile and laugh. "Oh no it's fine, I always bring extra incase anybody is hungry after they finish their food, take whatever you want, it's really no problem at all." She said with a chuckle, holding her lunchbox out for them.

Y/N is surprised at the generosity, and the fact that Bec packs extra food for her friends, and hesitantly takes a bag of chips from her lunch box, only after their stomach growls loudly.

Bec giggled softly at the sound, once Y/N took the chips, she held her lunchbox out for the others to take their pick, her lunchbox almost empty when she got it back. Bec puts her lunchbox away and gets into conversation with Julie about how horrible her maths teacher is.

After lunch, classes were the same, and the second lunch was also the same, a boring day to Y/N yet still fun due to their new friends.

As the school day ends and they're walking out of school to go back home, Julie runs up to them, calling after them.

"Y/N! Let's walk home together!" Julie cheered as they caught up, a bright smile on her face and she walked next to Y//N.

"Alright, some company wouldn't be so bad." Y/N said with a smile as they walk with Julie, both getting lost in conversation as they walk and laugh together.

As the two girls arrive at Y/N's place, they say goodbye and Y/N walks in as Julie starts her way to her house. Once inside, they go to their room and start on their homework, playing music from their phone as background noise.
