Sudo, having feelings for Suzune, was furious but that's beside the point.
"Would you like to accompany me after school?" My seat partner asked me before class had started.
"Maybe, maybe not," I replied in a laxed voice.
Out of the corner of my eye, I watched as the compass in her hand flipped up straight and glinted from the sunlight seeping into the class.
"Yes of course I will accompany you on a date after school Suzune." I corrected, to which a small smile appeared on her face. Everyone who was looking at the two of us was shocked at the sight. I used my notebook and put it in front of her face.
She raised an eyebrow at me, "What are you doing?"
"Don't smile in front of other people besides me," I said.
"Who are you to tell me what I can and can't do?" She crossed her arms in an angry-looking way.
"Who am I?" I asked, "Your boyfriend."
--
Needless to say, I had gotten stabbed after talking back to her but now we walking in silence, hand in hand in Keyaki Mall.
"Are you angry at me?"
There wasn't anything to be angry at.
She didn't respond.
"Do you want something to make you not angry with me?"
No response once more. I'm getting deja vu from our interaction during the start of the year in the convenience store.
"Want a necklace?"

"How about a kiss?" I felt her hand tense and I looked at her blushing face.
"I-idiot."
"You're finally talking to me again. Yippee."
"You don't sound very happy."
"When do I ever sound like anything?"
"You make a good point."
We walked around, window shopping until we entered a clothes store that was cheap but had nice clothes.
She picked out a few outfits and went to the changing rooms, "Give me your honest opinion as I'm in need of some new clothes."
I gave her a firm nod.
First outfit:

I've barely ever seen her in anything other than her school uniform so this was new and I'm not complaining.
I put a thumbs up, "It suits you very well, 10/10."
She didn't look satisfied with the answer but went and changed into outfit number two.

"Cute, simple, something to wear at home, buy it," I said.
The next outfit is incoming.

Her breasts look great in that but I wouldn't dare say it in case of being stabbed by the compass.
"You look great."
Now onto the final outfit:

A whole new look. Since her body is well-toned and nurtured, the outfit suits her very much. But I could never ever see her wearing something like that in public, it seems unlikely for a girl of her stature.
"I like it."

"You're opinions are very hard to work with." She complained as we sat down in a cafe. Around us were multiple students, a couple of them from class D, and some from class B. Undoubtedly they were watching us intrigued.
"Were they? My apologies."
She sighed, "I know you're a social outcast but can't you give less vague answers?"
"Sorry." I paused, "Although, I think you looked extremely adorable in the dresses you bought if that makes you feel better. I had a fear you would stab me if I said so." I explained.
She looked disheartened, "I'm not that aggressive, am I?" She asked, reaching into her pocket and fiddling with the compass that never left her side.
"I would beg to differ."
Her face flushed red, "It's your fault for saying things that make me want to stab you."
I coughed, "Sadist."
She visibly refrained herself from pulling out her compass and just started to eat the pastries given.
"Score 1:0, to me."

After finishing our food, she dragged me around until we saw this grand piano on the second floor of Keyaki Mall. I stood, staring at it and she seemed to take notice, "You play piano, right? Can you play it for me?" She asked.
I looked around and it seemed pretty vacant.
I walked and then sat on the piano seat whilst tracing my hand over the black and white keys.
What piece shall I play?
Before I knew it, I was playing one of my favourites, Lento con gran espressione. Nocturne number 20 in C#minor. A beautiful piece.
Its connotations are emptiness and loneliness, feelings that I used to relate to when I first started learning the piano at a tender age.
My eyes were closed as I recited the piece by memory, not faltering in my playing.
Once I had opened my eyes, I noticed a crowd of students around the piano, admiring my playing skills.
Attention at its finest. Something I wasn't very fond of.
"Wow Ayanokoji! I didn't know you could play!"
"Join the piano club!"
"Play again for us!"
Everyone's voices were drowned out by each other, and I got dragged away from them by Suzune.
"Lento con gran Espressione?" She asked.
I nodded, "How did you know?"
"It was a piece I used to listen to whenever I felt alone." She said. I shouldn't be surprised that she listens to classical music. Pop and the music people our age listen to now aren't very like Suzune.
