Claire p.o.v.
She told me the horrible news Yesterday night when you were at Jake's house(your best friend). We were home together and we had an amazing time together. It had been a long time since mom and I had a moment alone to talk. She cooked us some delicious lasagna and we talked about school and stuff. It was so much fun.
We were sitting at the table when her Phone rang. I couldn't see who it was but she immediatly went upstairs to talk. At first I didn't really thought it would be something bad. I thought it was grandma or one of her friends.
After 30 minutes i got worried. After i did the dishes i went upstairs to see what she was doing.
I went to her Bedroom and there she was. She was crying and really upset. She looked at me and started crying even more. I was so scared because i didn't know what was going on. Did someone from the family died? That was actually the first thing that popped in to my mind.
I decided to sit next to her on the bed and i asked her who the caller was. Mom quitly said: it was my boss....
What did he said mom? Well he said that there isn't enough work anymore and that he has to many peoples. He than said that he really was happy of the work i did for him but that he couldn't do anything for me anymore. I got FIRED.
I was shocked but i didn't let mom see that. I brought her a Glass of water to calm her because she was still crying. Mom said: what do i have to do now! I really need the money. For you and Emma!
Mom! We will find a new job for you i promise! Maybe we have to go to bed now and we can talk Tomorrow. Emma has maybe an idea.
Mom p.o.v
No, don't say it to Emma. She has already so much on her mind after the accident. (Our Dad died in a car accident). She has it already hard enough. I first want to make sure if there isn't an other solution. Maybe i can find a new job?Maybe i can work again at my latest job. I will call them right now.
Claire's p.o.v
I think mom is going over the top. I hope she doesn't get hurt. Why can't i even tell it to Emma. She has to know this right. Mom is now calling with her latest boss to know if he has someting for her. I'm nervous.
Mom puts the Phone down and she looks very happy! Omg mom and? What did he said???
I HAVE A NEW JOB she said!!!! I can start in about a month.
Are you serious? That's wonderful news what do you have to do? But than mom wasnt as happy as before. She told me: Well i can start in a new place but therefore we will have to move to New Jersey... what you are kidding me right? That so far away from here! All our friends and family live here we can't do that. I don't want to go!!!
Mom started to become really angry. Mom said: i also don't want to move but it is the only way to get more money. I have to do it all by myself and it's really hard with 2 kids you know!! I'm staying with it. We will talk later Claire. Now you have to go to bed!!!
So that's what i did. I went to bed but i couldn't sleep. The idea of moving and leaving everyone behind is so hard to take...
IN THE MORNING.
I woke up and mom was already up. She told me that she had a meeting with her latest boss and that she had to go. I was pissed and angry. Mom i don't want it and I'm pretty sure that Emma also doesn't want to move. Let us stay here. There are enough jobs here as Well!
No, Claire i have to do this. They offer me more money and we need it. I now going to wake up Emma but i stay with it.
