We are arriving in the Airport. We put all our luggages away. The AirPort is so big that i don't even now Where to go.
Luckily mom knows the way.
After all the controles we finally are in the departure lounge. We only have to wait 10 more minutes and than we can get on the Plane.
I have mixed feelings. Claire, mom and i don't say much to Each other but i really doesn't mind. We all have it quit hard at the moment but I'm sure we will get through this as a family.
I kiss the neckless with the ashes and i talk to Dad in my mind. I tell him that i love him, that i miss him and that he has to support us. Mom and Claire have seen me kiss the neckless and they are doing the same thing. We both have the same neckless and it means the world for us. It's the only thing we still have from him. We kiss it all at the same time and we smile at Each other. This is a moment we will never forget.
Yes. the moment of truth has arrived we are sitting on our places in the airplane and we are heading of to New Jersey. It's a 3 hour flight. I'm nervous, scared, happy and sad all at the same time. Claire is sitting at the window. I'm sitting in the middle and mom next to me.
A new chapter in our lives has begon.
