The soft morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow upon the room. Taehyung stirred in his sleep, blankets cocooning him in their comforting embrace. His peaceful slumber was interrupted by the gentle knock on his bedroom door.
"Good morning, Master Taehyung," Meggie, the house help, chimed in, her voice soft and kind. She entered with a tray in hand, carrying a steaming cup of tea.
Taehyung groaned and burrowed deeper into his bed. "Do I have to get up so early, Meggie?"
Meggie, used to his morning grumblings, chuckled softly. "Well, sir, the world waits for no one, not even you. But I've brought your favorite breakfast today."
Taehyung's eyes fluttered open, curiosity piqued. "You did? What is it?"
Meggie winked playfully. "Ah, it's a surprise. But I promise it'll make waking up early worthwhile."
With a mock groan, Taehyung finally relented and sat up. Meggie handed him the cup of tea, and he took a sip, finding the comforting warmth soothing his grumpy morning disposition.
As Meggie helped him freshen up, she couldn't resist a bit of playful banter. "You know, Master Taehyung, I've heard that early birds catch the worms."
Taehyung rolled his eyes dramatically. "I'm not a bird, Meggie. I'm a perfectly normal boy who enjoys his beauty sleep."
Meggie laughed heartily. "Of course, sir, but even normal boys must wake up eventually."
"Ah it sucks to be normal as much as it do to be special." Taehyung rolled his eyes, still whining about waking up early.
With a smile and a shared sense of humor, they continued their morning usual, Taehyung's reluctance giving way to the warm familiarity of their bond. It was moments like these, filled with laughter and gentle teasing, that made the early mornings a little more bearable.
As Taehyung and Meggie shared small talk, the room bathed in the soft morning light, their warm relationship was evident. She was not just a house help but a trusted friend, and together, they navigated the challenges of the day, one morning at a time.
Meggie, used to his morning grumblings, chuckled softly. "It's a beautiful day outside, sir. And your father would like to spend some time with you before he leaves for work."
Taehyung's eyes looked at her, revealing the sleepiness within. "Alright, alright. I'm up anyway."
Meggie gave him an encouraging smile as she set the tray down. "That's a good lad. I'll leave you to freshen up."
As Taehyung reluctantly crawled out of bed, he couldn't help but feel a pang of irritation at having to wake up early. Meggie waited patiently, ready to assist him with his morning routine.
Once Taehyung was up and about, she helped him wash his face and get dressed. He whined and grumbled the entire time, not particularly fond of early mornings.
His father, Kim, entered the room with a warm smile, dressed impeccably in his formal attire, definitely he's a big meeting today. Taehyung's annoyance waned as his father approached, their morning ritual about to unfold.
"Good morning, my baby Taehyung," Kim Mi-an greeted, his eyes filled with adoration as he bent down to ruffle his son's hair.
Taehyung's grumpy demeanor softened as he returned his father's affectionate smile. "Morning, Dad."
