She was struggling to walk slowly as she held onto to her umbrella making sure it won't turn upside down by wind.
It has been a few months since she moved to a new city. Means she is unfamiliar with many things.
So she often tries to walk a new street every now and then and keeps track of the road using Google maps in order to not get lost.
It was now drizzling with strong wind gusts.
As she was walking down the street looking at the shops, she saw a bakery in the alley.
By the looks of it, it was a newly opened shop.
There was a small table and cute yellow coloured chairs for two. You can also see what's inside from the glass windows.
She couldn't help but smile to herself. She decided to enter the bakery. As she opened the door and looked around it's interior screamed aesthetics!!
It was painted with pestel colours. Was lighted with vintage light bulbs giving it a warm feeling. There were a few round tables with some chairs which vibed with the whole decore.
She looking around the place when an olderly lady who seemed to be in her late 30s, greeted her.
"Welcome mam, how can I help you?" The old lady asked her, smiling warmly.
"Oh, hi. Um, I'll look around and tell you in a minute" she said, returning her smile.
She went towards the display now looking at the pastries.
It had many colorful pastries along with donuts, croissants and tiramisu. All of it looked really tasty.
She ordered tiramisu, her favourite. The old lady served it in a plate and gave it to her.
She also told her that there was a mini garden area with sitting arrangement where she can enjoy her dessert.
She also agreed as there was no one inside the bakery besides them.
She went in the direction she was told.
It had stopped raining now. Garden area was so charming. There she saw sitting area facing garden. It had a few cushions, a small table and a some fairy lights.
She was yet again mesmerized by the view before her.
She sat there and enjoyed her tiramisu looking at the flower garden.
When she was done, she went to the main counter to pay the bill.
The olderly lady smiled at her asked how she liked her tiramisu.
"It was really good. It was not very sweet and had just the right amount of coffee. Just the way I like." She was babbling and stopped at once to look at the lady smile wide.
"Sorry I talk too much. But it was really tasty and it's really beautiful in here," she smiled at the lady.
"Thank you dear. Glad you liked it. Actually you're my very first customer. We opened just today." The lady smiled.
After paying the bill she was walking out the door when the lady said, "It was nice talking to you. Do come often."
"I will," she smiled.
"Can I have your name dear?" The lady asked.
"Kaveri" she smiled. And the lady what should she call her the next time she comes.
"Call me Vandana." The lady smiled.
