Hey Guys, sorry I've been gone for so long. I'm here now, and I've rewrote this whole chapter as I didn't like it. I knew I could do better, so for the months I've been gone, I've been hard at work trying to rewrite this whole chapter.
I'm happy to say this is now my most significant chapter, with almost 20k words.
I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I did writing it, and if you find something you don't like, let me know, and I can see if I can change it as this story is for everyone to enjoy and read. I'm planning on rewriting all of the chapters while I work on chapter 4, but don't worry, I'll hopefully have chapter 4 out by the end of the year,r if not sooner, my goal is to hopefully get 20k words, for I,t so please ask for updates on it, which is going to be called.
" The Devil Who is Lost Needs Salvation in his darkest hour."
I hope you like the name, but it might change. I'm not sure yet, but so far, it will stay the same.

Chapter 3: The Morningstar Revealed

The room was dimly lit, its ambience serene and warm. Issei pulled Grayfia into a loving embrace as they settled into the plush bed. His presence wrapped around her like a cocoon of safety, and her cheeks flushed a soft pink at the intimate gesture.

"Well, someone's impatient," Issei teased, his voice laced with affection. "Did you miss snuggling with me that much?"

Grayfia's lips curved into a tender smile, her head resting against his chest. "Don't be silly," she replied softly, though her heart fluttered at his words. His hand moved gently through her silver hair, and she sighed contentedly.

"My sweet, loving wife," Issei murmured, his tone reverent. "No matter what happens, I'll always love you."

Tears welled in Grayfia's eyes. She hugged him tightly, her emotions spilling over. "I missed you so much. Why didn't you come back sooner?"

Issei cupped her face, brushing away her tears. "I'm sorry, my love," he said with a regretful smile. "I'll explain everything after I've dealt with the Phoenix family. They need a reminder of why Lucifer always rules the Underworld."

Grayfia tensed slightly at his tone, her worry surfacing. "And if they resist?"

His voice dropped, cold and relentless. "Then they'll find they no longer have a place in the Underworld."

Grayfia shuddered but trusted him implicitly. "They've tried to force me into their family multiple times," she said bitterly. "First Lord Phoenix, then Ruval, and now Riser."

Issei's crimson eyes flared with anger. "They'll regret daring to covet what's mine," he growled. "Not only am I helping the Gremory family, but I'm also defending my right as your husband."

Grayfia's expression softened. "You don't need to worry. I'll only ever love you, my sweet, adorable Lucy," she said, her voice laced with warmth and amusement.

Issei smirked at her use of his nickname, his earlier anger dissipating slightly. "Perhaps I need to remind my wife who's in charge," he quipped, pinning her playfully.

Laughter erupted as Issei tickled her mercilessly, breaking the tension. Grayfia's giggles filled the room, a rare and cherished sound. After a few moments, he relented, pulling her into a warm embrace. "We have a lot to do tomorrow. Let's rest."

Morning Light

The soft light of dawn bathed the room in golden hues. Grayfia stirred awake, her crimson eyes glimmering as they caught the first rays of sunlight. She stretched languidly, a small smile gracing her lips as memories of the previous night filled her mind.

But something was missing. She glanced around, noticing the empty space beside her. A pang of sadness passed through her before she caught the enticing aroma of breakfast wafting through the air.
