CHAPTER FIVE

     Two weeks later;
    Kira Clayton walked into the school's building. People all around her whispered, stared and pointed fingers at her.
"Yeah I heard it too,so tragic."
"She's such a bitch to let that happen to her friend. And she calls her self a best friend,more like a murderer!"
"I heard she lost her best friend, Mia. What a pity."
"I hope she's ok ."
"She has the guts to come to school after everything, she's so pathetic." They whispers and gossips where too much for her, she needed air and space, she walked ahead. She didn't know where she was heading but she knew she wanted to leave the place. She was focused on walking away with her head down and staring at the floor as she hurriedly walk away. She bumped into someone, a male. It was Philip.

"Hey! Kira ! I didn't know you were resuming back today."He grinned at her. She tried to grin back but she was again distracted by the the stares.

"Are you okay?" He asked furrowing his eyebrows and looking down at her.

"Uh.. yeah... I mean sure. Of course I am." She managed to give him a crooked smile. Just then Stephanie and Alexa walked to her grinning ears to ears.

"Hey girlfriend!"Stephanie said and grabbed her into a hug.

"We missed you Kiki!" Alexa added patting Kira's burnette hair. "We came some few times to your house but your dad order Joshua and Mr Zane not to let anyone in the house without his permission."

"Yeah! You really are a prison bird though no offense." Stephanie let her go and let out a chuckle.

"Um I guess this is where I walk off, so you guys can have your girls gossip chat." Philip smiled at Kira's two friend. he turned to her. "Um I'll see you around then.." He walked off.

"Tell me all I missed!" Kira playfully demanded slamming her locker shut.

"Well apart from the whole school work especially Maths homework, nothing much." Alexa laughed. "Except though our class had a whole day off for her sake. We talked about the memories we had and enjoyed with her. And guess what even the teachers complied."

" Yeah. But Josh was a dickhead, he didn't even take part in what ever we did. He just walked out. He thinks he was the only one Mia was dear too, well he can go drown himself then." Stephanie shrugged.

"I don't blame him for acting that way. I wish that I never asked her! I mean it could have been any of you that day if you had followed." Kira was getting all teary. Alexa placed a hand on her right shoulder.

"It's not your fault Kiki. Maybe it was just fate. Don't blame yourself please." Alexa said and Stephanie nodded in agreement.

The bell rings:
"I've got training with Mr Patrick concerning soccer. So I'll see you guys later!" Alexa waved walking along with the crowds in the hallway.

"Since we are both free we could go together to the lawn and get distracted by those hotties playing football." Stephanie smiled nervously praing deep down Kira agreed to the stupid idea so at least Kira would forget a little about all had happened.

"Um.. yeah. I guess." They walked to their school's field.

"Oh I'm sure you might not have heard since you were like offline for like three weeks but our class headed by me went to speak with the school board about what we thought Mia would like. We decided to plan a whole week for Mia. It's in two weeks time. The same week our annual youth week is taking place. We begged the school board to make the theme of our youth week; "Mia Lucia Dante". They totally agreed to it all. We have already submitted the attendance for those going that week. Don't worry though, I pulled a few strings for you and got you added since I knew you have been through a lot and you would love to go." Stephanie said smiling like she had won an award.
