After Izuku had received the call, he hasn't been himself and Katsuki was starting to get more worried for him. He hasn't been eating much, he's always in bed and doesn't have the motivation to go to work, not that he does much other than create music all day.

"Izuku please, you can't stay in bed all day..." Katsuki said hugging him from behind but got nothing in return, not even a word. "Izuku, at least eat something, your mom wouldnt be happy to see you like this..." he said and Izuku turned around and snuggled into Katsuki's chest. "Fine..." Izuku mumbled into Katsuki's chest. Katsuki gave a small smile before kissing Izuku on his head. "I'll be right back." Katsuki slipped out of bed and whipped up a small portion of porridge before going back to Izuku and seeing Katsuki back, Izuku sat up and took the bowl out of his hands as he started to slowly eat. Katsuki decided to sit behind Izuku as he ate.

Izuku finished his porridge and gave the bowl to Katsuki to put down and he did so without another word. Izuku leaned against Katsuki and Katsuki put his arms around him as he nuzzled into his neck.

"Kacchan..." Izuku called, getting a hum of acknowledgment. "Can you promise that you'll never leave me...?" Katsuki immediately tightened his grip but not too hard to hurt. "I promise I won't. You're too important for me to do that." Katsuki said firmly. Izuku turned around and hugged him as the tears he's been holding in finally escaped.

It's been a few days and Izuku was slowly getting better, slowly but surely.  Katsuki was happy to say the least, he didn't want to see Izuku like this ever but he knew it would happen sooner or later but other than that he was happy. Izuku wasn't in bed as much as he was but he doesn't do much other than look out the window when there's nothing to do but he does give small smiles here and there.

"Izuku, let's go shopping." Katsuki said and Izuku quickly got dressed before coming back to Katsuki, ready in a disguise and Katsuki was aswell.

They decided to walk and as they were walking, with Katsuki trying to create conversation but failing, Izuku suddenly started looking through all his pockets to find nothing so he turned to Katsuki. "Do u have a pen and page for me?" Katsuki checked his pockets and found exactly that and handed it over to Izuku. He then quickly writes down the few lyrics he had made for a new song.

"New song lyrics?" Katsuki asked and got a nod. "Yeah, did I scare you?" Izuku put the page and pen in his pocket before looking up at Katsuki as they continued to walk. "No, I was just surprised don't worry." Katsuki ruffled Izuku's hair with a small smile. "You should see me react like that in my studio. Can't find anything when I need it." Izuku said with a huff making Katsuki chuckle.

They continued on their way and talked about anything that came to mind and they finally arrived at the convenience store and collected everything that was needed. After paying for all the items, they walked back home and once they packed all the things away, they watched a movie and played games to pass time until the day ended and they cuddled as they went to sleep.

Today Izuku decided he should go to work and Katsuki of course had to make sure he was ready to finally go and after a bit, he finally let him go, they said their goodbyes and both headed their own direction.

Izuku arrived at the building, walked in, greeted people like normal and headed for his bosses office to explain his sudden disappearance. He got in the elevator and stood there for a bit before he reached the floor of his boss. He walked to the door named 'Mr. Akas office' and knocked on it, getting told he could come in so he opened the door and walked over to the desk.

Mr. Aka looks up from his laptop and gives Izuku a warm smile. "Ah, Mr. Midoriya. It's nice to see you're back. Did you need something?" Izuku returned the smile. "No, I actually came to explain my absence." Izuku explained. "Oh, well go ahead." Mr. Aka told as he listened. "Well, um, my mother had gotten into a car accident and didn't survive. I wasn't in the right.... mindset, you could say? But I got over it with the help of.... someone." Izuku explained as he fidgeted with his hands. "I'm sorry for your loss. I understand how you must feel about losing a loved one and please take your time, you don't have to throw yourself right into work after something like that. Hope you're feeling better." Izuku gave a small sad smile before he bowed. "I'll take my leave then." Izuku said as he stood up straight and got a nod from Mr. Aka. "Don't be too hard on yourself." Izuku looked back to Mr. Aka and gave a slight nod before heading to his studio.

After a short walk, he arrived at his studio, sat down and got to work, continuing from where he stopped.

Izuku was finally finished with all the effects and anything a lyric video could need and published it onto YouTube. He decided to take a break and got up to get him something to drink.

With Katsuki, he just got a notification and saw that it was from Uzuki. He was happy he just finished his paperwork so now he could listen to the song. He pressed the notification and plugged his earphones into his phone and played  the video.

Katsuki wasn't really sure he liked the song but it sounded good. He'll have to talk to Izuku about it.
