They haunt me

I walked down the halls
Hearing people talk amongst themselves
I watch the people in the halls
Until I see them that one person
Their glowing strange
Their eyes r usually dead
Their face never turned up into a smile
They always looked as if not wanting to be bothered
Standing off to the side
But today no not today
Today their eyes r so filledd with light
Their is the biggest and bright smile of all
They were greeting everyone
What's different today
They finally got to me greeted me
They said it was nice seeing u
I will watch u from above than they left to the stairs
What did that mean
I suddenly get hit with a wave of shock and worry
I move my feet to staircase as fast as I can
I run and I run up not caring if I get cramped
I see the door to the roof it's locked
I run into the steel metal
Bruising forming on my arms and legs
The door revealed them looking down on the world
I walk slowly to not startle them
I feel my eyes twitch and blur
My body shakes and freezes
I try to form a single word yet nothing comes out
Just as they take the step I say stop
But it's to late
I wake up from that nightmare
It was always haunt me
I wasn't brave enough to stop them
I will never forgive myself
They will always haunt me
