Daron and serj met up at a coffee shop for a chat, and the two of them were discussing band names. They had come up with a few titles on their list.
"What do you think about soil?" Serj asked.
"That's good. put it on the list."
Serj wrote down the name on a slip of paper. Daron unfortunately couldn't write due to his disability.
Serj took a sip of his espresso and thought of other names.
Daron ordered black coffee with sugar and biscotti. He had a sweet tooth, much like his mother.
Darons mother had a talent for baking, as well as sculpting. She transferred a few of her cooking skills to Daron, but he found it challenging. He had a few scars on his fingers from some miscalculations of where the knife was.
Daron had a close bond with his mother. She taught him a lot and gave him advice when he was looking for guidance.
His father was a man with many talents. He had a passion for dancing and painting. He was a very cultural man. He also produced records and offered to be one of darons producers when he started his career.
However, he hadn't gotten far. But now that he had left his old band and had found someone he was interested in, he had a glimmer of hope.
When Daron was feeling demodivated, he had his father to confide in. He was grateful to have supportive parents who loved him with every ounce of their being.
Vartan and Zepur immigrated from Mosul, Iraq, a year before Daron was born. They wanted their child to have a chance for a bright future in America.
Daron was trying his hardest to make his career work. He had seen failure after failure for years since he first started his music career as a teenager.
He wasn't going to give up, no matter what people threw at him.
"How about Victims Of A down?" Daron suggested.
"Ooh, that's a good one."
Serj wrote down the name on the paper.
"We've got a lot of good ones. We can start to narrow the list down." Serj said.
