A week went by. it was time for the band to record. They were all more than ready to record. But they had no bassist. That was what the songs really needed, the missing
Part of the puzzle."Daron, can you do the bass tracks too? Serj asked."
"I guess I can handle a little bit of extra work..."
"I can play bass." Shavo said.
"Really?"
Shavo picked up the bass and played a little bass line. He was a talented bassist.
"Do you think you can play the songs we wrote?"
"Where's the sheet?"
John grabbed a green folder and pulled out some sheet music he printed. He gave it to shavo, but he pulled out another sheet of paper.
"And Daron, I printed the lyrics for you in braille."
"Thanks." Daron took the paper and started using his fingers to read.
Once they had all studied the lyrics and rehearsed, they got to work on recording.
The first song they worked on was suite-pee.
They worked really hard and managed to complete a few songs.
"Great job today, I think at this rate we'll be finished with the album in a week!"
"Im starving." John said.
"Yeah, me too. Wanna order pizza?" Daron agreed.
"Can we get one that's vegetarian? I don't eat meat." Serj requested.
They all put the money together and ordered a supreme pizza and an onion and pepper pizza.
Shavo brought his bong out and shared some purple kush with them.
They sat and had a conversation while the bong passed around.
"Hey Daron, how do you know where your food is on your plate?" Shavo asked.
"Well, this is just pizza. When I'm eating other stuff, I basically think of my plate like a clock, 1 through 12. 6 o'clock is at the bottom of the plate, and 12 is at the top." Daron demonstrated.
"I see... that's pretty smart."
"How do you find doors?" Serj wondered.
"My cane let's me know where the doorways are, and I can just feel the braille on the walls. It isn't that hard. Now, no more questions."
