Darren looked at me with his normal cold look, as i asked if I could sit with him.

**~Darren pov~**

I was sitting in the back of the cafeteria by myself eating my lunch peacefully. All of a sudden a short girl with pure white fur and emerald green eyes started to walk towards me. "What is she doing..?" I thought. I glanced up at her as the walked over next to me.

"May I sit with you?" She asked in a sweet voice. I could tell she was nervous.

Why did she wanna sit with me? Doesn't she think I smell revolting like everyone else?.

**~back to kas pov~**

I was standing there waiting for him to answer me. "Does he think I'm weird for asking to sit next to him?" I thought. Maybe he thinks I just feel bad for him..? I look at him and give him a slight smile, trying to be nice.

"Sure." He said in a deep mumble.

I sit next to him but also a little away still keeping my distance, but not wanting to act as though I'm scared of him.

I look at him with a small smile. "I'm kas! Thank you for letting me sit here" I  said in a soft calm voice.

Darren looked at me with a cold expression before looking back down and eating his lunch.

I looked back down at my food and started to eat. It was so awkward... "Should I say something to break the silence??" I thought.

"I..-" before I could finish the bell rang. Indicating that lunch was now other. I look down at my food before looking back up. He was gone.

Huh..? I said quietly underneath my breath.

He was gone. Like he just vanished into thin air. I just ignored it and went back to class. I started walking down the hallway when Melanie ran up to me.

"Hey girl! What were you doing with the new guy at lunch!?" She asked sounding slightly confused but excited.

"Oh that..? There was nowhere Else to sit, so I asked him if I could sit next to him and he said sure." I said hoping Melanie wouldn't think anything of it and stop asking me about it.

"Oh? Okay.. I still can't believe you think he smell good! Literally everyone thinks his sent is revolting... are you sure your feeling okay?" Melanie asked you sounding slightly worried.

"Yes I'm okay! It's nothing to worry about. I promise. And I don't know why everyone thinks his sent is bad, I like it... to me it's like a sweet sent but not sweet like candy. More like a strong musky sent" i said looking at her.

Melanie nodded her head in response.

"Well I see you at class! Bye!" She said before running to class.

**~Darren's pov~**

I was walking back to class when I heard to girls talking in the hall. It seemed they were talking about me.. I listened from around the corner as they talked.

"I still can't believe you think the new guy smells good! Everyone else thinks his sent is revolting" I heard one girl say.

It's not like I wanted to smell this way. I was born like this...if it wasn't for that stupid legend... and why me? Out of all alpha's it had to be me.

As I listened I heard a familiar voice start talking.

"don't know why everyone thinks his sent is bad, I like it... to me it's like a sweet sent but not sweet like candy. More like a strong musky sent" a girl said in a sweet voice... it was.. the girl from lunch.

"Wait...does that mean...if she likes my sent, that means...no..it can't be..." the thoughts were running through my head. Was it true? She liked my sent... "That girl...kas...I have to get to know her. And fast.

**~back to kas pov~**

I walked back to class and sat down at my desk. I looked out the window and looked at the beautiful cherry blossom tree that was planted at the school. It was my favorite thing about the school.

As i were looking out the window I zoned out until i heard someone sit at the desk next to me. I looked beside of me and saw *him*. he would glance over at me during class, but i just ignored him. But i couldn't help but think... why did he sit next to me..? Out of all people why me..? I just got rid of these thoughts and tried focusing on class.
