When I was born I always had the sent of a dead animal. No one knew why until one of the elders in my pack told me a legend that I would soon to understand.
(Time skip back to when Darren was a pup)
Elder: a alpha male will be Born, who's sent will smell as a dead animal carcass, a sent that will be so revolting no one will want him, or even be around him.
This alpha male will have trouble finding his mate, but she does exist. You will know you've found your mate once you meet a girl who can stand the smell of your sent. Only one girl exist in the whole world that will like your sent.
Your sent won't smell bad to her, she will love your sent and the more she is around it the more she will grow to love you, young pup.

I sat there and listened as the elder told me this legend. I was only a pup, not really understanding what it all meant, but now that I'm older and of age I'm hoping to find her and make her mine.
