Reggie wakes up smiling and just thinking about last night and how gentle Henry was with her no one has ever made her feel the way she does when she's with him. She then checks her phone to see how much time she got left to get ready for school and she has a text from Henry: Good morning beautiful how are you? How you feeling this morning? I miss you. Reggie: Good morning, I'm doing good just still a little sore from last night lol and I miss you too. She gets up to get ready for school and for the first time she ever actually wanted to dress up and look cute, so she gets her floral dress, wedges, and curls her hair. For the first time in forever, she dresses up for a normal day and goes off to school. Reggie met up with Whitney at school they were in the 12th grade and Janey had been going to a different school but they all still managed to talk. Whitney is surprised by the way Reggie looks "wow are you going somewhere special today?" "um, no" "what you never dress up only on special occasions" "I wanted to look how I feel today and today I feel beautiful" "aw Reggie you are beautiful, but why the sudden change" "I kinda met someone" "what do you mean you kinda met someone." Should I tell her about Henry no she'll probably have a heart attack since I had sex right away "just someone special" the bell rings and Reggie is saved by the bell. "I'll talk to you later before the evil witch bitch sends me to the deans again for being late" "ok, but later we are going to have a talk about this special someone, that's making you change all of a sudden." Oh man how can I keep myself from telling Whitney and Janey about Henry.
At lunch time Whitney is sitting with all of the other friends, kelly, Frankie, curly, Kelsey, Juan, Rosa, and Nancy. Reggie goes and sits next to Nancy with her lunch trying to avoid Whitney and her millions of questions as to why all of a sudden she's changing. "Reggie so are you going to tell me about this special person in your life" everyone looks at Reggie. Nancy is in shock "wait, hold on you met someone how, where, when-" Reggie interrupted a little annoyed "this is why I didn't want to tell anyone the whole interrogation" Reggie gets up and throws away her trash and Whitney comes running after her "Reggie wait I'm sorry it just that I'm so happy for you and excited that I didn't think you will get mad for asking questions" "I'm not mad I just didn't want to say anything until I know that me and this guy are official" "so who is this guy then- wait is he older than you" "he's older by 2 years and that's all I'm going to tell you cuz idk if we are official" "ok sounds fair but I'm going to want details" "ok fine lets get to class before they take our seats" Reggie and Whitney ran off to biology and would always sit in the back since Mrs. Smith couldn't see that far even with her glasses on and every time she talked she would spit.
Reggie gets home and takes a couple of selfies and sends them to Henry. Henry: wow you look absolutely beautiful are you busy today? If not, do you want to hang out? Reggie: no I'm not busy Henry: ok, I'll be there in 20 minutes Reggie: ok . 20 minutes later Henry texts Reggie: I'm outside. She grabs her purse and tells her mom "me, I'm going to Whitney I'll be home soon" "ok, doesn't stay out too late." Reggie gets in the car "hello beautiful and where's my kiss you punk" "I'm sorry" Reggie kisses Henry. "Where are we going" "um my house is that ok, I'll make you dinner" "sorry I just ate, but yeah, we can go to your house" few minutes later they are cuddling after sex "um what are we?" Reggie asks Henry "what do you mean?" "yeah what are we? Are we boyfriend and girlfriend?" "were dating" "ok" does he only want me for sex or does he really like me?.
Reggie gets up mad. "Can you take me home, please? " "Is there something I said?" "just forget about it and take me home!" Henry grabs her "I like you, but you got to give me time" "ok well take me home." Reggie gets into the car. And she's just looking out the window with her arms crossed not saying or looking at Henry. They get to Reggie house and she doesn't give him a kiss and says "thanks for the ride bye."
How can I be so stupid thinking that a guy will ever like me for me. Reggie gets a text from Henry: I'm sorry good night. Reggie doesn't reply and goes to sleep crying, feeling used and heartbroken.
