All about Reggie

Reggie is 18 years old, she lives with her single mother, her biological father walked out on her when she was only a week old for another woman. Her mom got remarried to Reggie step dad.
Her step dad has 8 other kids from a previous marriage and her step mom has 2 kids. Reggie always saw them as her brothers and sisters because they grew up all together. And she also has two older sisters pretty confusing huh.
At 6 years old Reggie got to finally meet her biological father, but not the way she expected. They were at the court house fighting for custody since Reggie mom wanted to put child support on him even though she didn't need the money she wanted him to pay she just wanted Reggie and her sisters to get what they deserve and that way he doesn't have money for beers, drugs and hookers.
The judge ruled that Reggie parents are going to be sharing custody. The first few weeks that she spent at her dads were miserable he spent the day drunk, beating her up and not letting them go play outside or watch TV they spent the day reading books. And copying the dictionary.
When Reggie was 7 and a half year old her dad had just finished beating her up and this one was one of the worst that same day Reggie went home pretty beat up, she had a belt mark across the face, and she couldn't sit down because he had been hitting her over and over again for about 20 something times.
When Reggie got home she just stands there and her step dad tells her "Reggie, why don't you sit down" "it hurts too much to sit" "what do you mean Reggie? Wait, what happened to your face?" Reggie starts crying "is he hitting you?" Reggie looks to the ground and nods "that mother fucker honey, come here quick, " Reggie mom comes running in "what's going on?" She looks at Reggie with fear in her eyes, what happened to your face Reggie?" Her mom starts crying "that mother fucker hit her" Reggie mom grabs her and takes her to the bathroom to examine and put some scar cream on her bruises and she prepares a shower for her as she takes of her pants to get in the shower reggies mom starts crying in horror "oh my god" Reggie step dad comes running in and looks at Reggie her whole but is covered in bruises and blood "no wonder she wouldn't sit down that son of a bitch is going to die" Reggie step dad calls her biological father and tells him "you mother fucker where the fuck you get off hitting her that way huh why don't you come hit me like that huh she can't defend her self but I can-"
Reggie mom snatches the phone out of her husband had "you're never going to see her again, you hear me you stay away from her."
Years go by fast and Reggie is 13 years old and she never talked about what happened to her 5 years ago instead she will eat because eating was the only that made her happy, that's why she was a plus size girl. And her whole family walked out on her, her step dad moved back to Honduras, her two older sisters left to live in New York.
At 15 Reggie was living on her own because her mom had gotten a job as a live in caregiver.
But that job didn't last long even though Reggie mom took good care of her boss the doctor said there wasn't that much left to do. So Reggie mom was out of a job.
