Baking

Miyo's POV

Later afternoon the new leader would make an appearance to us for the competition. It's still 6 am and the others are probably asleep, I don't know what to do today usually I would be busy but right now, I don't know what to do.

I already have my stretches and yoga's, already watched some of the movies in my laptop, cleaned my room. I woke up early since I slept early last night.

I'm just sitting in my bed just thinking, don't really know what to do. When my door opened, I looked up and saw Liu standing at my door.

"What do you want??" I was annoyed, I just can't have a peaceful day without them.

"I came here to fix your alarm, the one that turns on when an announcement is happening" Liu explained, I looked at him with his tools in his hands and mr suite case by his side.

I sigh and nodded, "okay I'll let you fix it but do it silently." He smiled and proceed to take a look.

I wasn't comfortable someone inside of my room while I am doing something, I wrapped myself in blanket and looked at my laptop. Since I didn't know what to do, I just scrolled in Instagram.

I was focus watching some reels in Instagram when I heard someone in my door, "Hey Miyo" I looked up and saw Ninja Kei leaning to my door.

"What now?" I ask in a annoyed voice, literally I really can't have peace by myself.

"Nothin, what'cha doin Liu?" Ninja Kei asked Liu. I turned my head away from them and continue watching.

I was so engrossed watching some reels that I didn't hear Liu or Ninja Kei asked me.

"Miyo?"

"Mmh??" I hummed clearly annoyed.

"We were wondering if you know." Liu said holding his tools and mr suitcase besides him

"What?" I looked at them

"You can you know bake today?" Ninja Kei was swinging his arms backs and fourth.

Surprisingly I wasn't annoyed or angry at them, I didn't know what to do and I didn't want to stay in my room and just look at social media or something.

I sigh, "fine I'll bake but I will be the only one in the kitchen and you both won't tell anyone until I'm finish baking."

They both nodded their heads and went out, I look at my laptop and closed it. I stood up not really having the energy to make my bed because I know after baking, I'll just go back to sleep, I put on a white cardigan since it's already getting cold in the headquarters. I walked out and made my way to the kitchen.

Walking silently in the headquarters was weird to me before, I was so used to having Gai around me even just walking in the hallways, he would always talk to me about his life, his brothers, how it feels being the oldest and many more ridiculous things he keeps saying.

But in the end, it always make me laugh and we both would always have a great time even just small interactions. I missed those days, were he was still here. I walked in the kitchen and started to make the one recipe I always wanted to try, my mother would always make this recipe,

Strawberry & banana flavored cake!

I loved her desserts and this is my favorite, anything with strawberry flavored is delicious. I took some ingredients in making a cake and some bowls and utensils. This is probably the only dessert I know how to make because this is what my mom always make and I would watch her do it and I would always want her to teach me the recipe so I can make one myself when I grow older.

Sometime later

I took my oven mitts and take the cake out of the oven and it smells heavenly in the kitchen. I set the cake down in the counter and spread the icing around which is strawberry of course, the cake would probably taste more banana rather than the strawberry so that's why I'm putting strawberry icing around.

After doing the icing I put some sprinkles and banana's around to make it pretty. It's finish!

I know they are all gonna eat this and I probably won't have mine left so I cut the cake and put my big slice in the refrigerator to hide it while I gave the cake to them.

"What's that smell?"

I whipped around and saw Rex and Kuga in the door standing,

"I uh made a cake" I didn't know how to say it because I usually don't do this to people so it was kinda awkward for me.

"CAKE!? Do I hear cakeee!!" Popo slide himself under Kuga and Rex and came Infront of me.

"Can I have a slice Miyo? Pretty please!!" Popo was jumping up and down showing that he was excited to have a slice. "Yeah you guys cut it yourself and I'll be in my room."

I walked out of the kitchen but not before saying, "The big slice in the fridge is mine, if anyone eats it they will get scratched."

I leave the kitchen and head to my room, I came across to Ninja Kei's room and heard sounds inside. I couldn't help but listen, so I put my ears beside his door, I know this is invading his privacy but I couldn't help it.

"Alright kei, tonight is the day where I tell-"

"Miyo?"

I turn my head to glare at Liu who called me. I looked back at Ninja Kei's room and heard footsteps coming so I grabbed Liu's jacket and pulled him to the nearest room and throw him in while I close the door.

"Hello?"

I put my hand on my lips to signal to be quiet and he nodded.

"Strange could've swore I heard a name." I heard Ninja Kei's door open then closed, it was silent outside before I turned to Liu and crossed my arms.

"What?" I was already irritated and really wanted to go to my room because it's freezing and I wanna sleep.

"I repaired your alarm and it was broken, good thing I fixed it!" Liu smiled proudly.

"Alright, thanks but I'm gonna go to my room now."

"But what where you doing outside of Kei's room?" I froze

"Uh nothing really and Oh yes! The cake, it's in the kitchen so you should go there while the guys might eat it all bye!" I nervously chuckle and ran out.
