Miyo's POV
We have been waiting for 45 minutes in the lounge and there was no knock or sign that the new contestant will come.
"When will he come already?? I wanna go back to my room" Popo have been whining the past minutes and it's irritating me.
"Me too, I didn't have a good sleep last night and a prince needs his beauty sleep." Lonkey huff.
"Guys, let's give him 15 more minutes and if he hasn't come yet let's go back to our rooms." Liu said
"Fine" Lonkey and Popo said at the same time.
We heard the door being open and a robot came in into our lounge.
"Running Man Contestants, meet Rex!" The robot move and shows Rex behind it.
We all jumped into action, Liu first then I jumped next to him, Popo and Lonkey moved behind my back also Pala and Kuga stayed at our back and lastly Ninja Kei jumped in front of me and stretched his arms in front of me.
It was weird but okay.
"Woah, woah I am not gonna attack you guys." Rex raised his arms up, his luggage and bags in the floor.
"Yeah right, we're not gonna forget what you did to us." Popo shouted to Rex.
"What he said!" Lonkey pointed Popo.
"The robot literally said I'm joining the competition, I can't hurt you guys when I'm one of you." Rex said
We were still looking at him, I know what's happening in their minds. We are not gonna trust a guy who literally sided with Manus, who tried to kill us.
"Okay what can I do to gain your trust?" Rex crossed his arms.
"There's nothing you can-" Ninja Kei was stopped by Liu.
"Actually there is one thing" Liu raised his glasses.
"How?" Popo questioned.
Liu looked at me and I looked at him, he motion me for something and I just stared at him dumbfounded.
"What?" I asked
"We can maybe use your...powers" Liu looked at me.
"What??? No!" I backed away from Liu and bumped my back into Ninja Kei's chest, he hold my arms Incase I fall.
"Think about it Miyo, if we use your powers and you can look into Rex's mind and see that he really isn't doing anything wrong then he can be at least trusted." Liu reasoned.
I looked at Rex, who was looking at me then I looked at Liu then the rest who were also looking at me.
I sigh.
"Fine" I rolled my eyes as Liu smiled.
"Great! Rex please sit in one of the sofa's so Miyo can look into your memories" Liu said to Rex.
"Wait what?? She has to look into my memories?? I'm sorry but no, I did something embarrasssing earlier and have some private stuff." Rex said.
"Well to bad, it's the only way to see if we can trust you a little bit" Liu shrugged his shoulders.
Rex was thinking hard, I really hope he just says no but Liu is kinda right, using my powers I can look into Rex's mind and see if he did something wrong.
Rex sigh and took a seat in one of the sofa's, "I'll agree but she only has to look for 3 minutes." He looked at Liu and Liu nodded.
"Miyo" Liu gestured his hands meaning I can start.
I huff as I make my way and sit next to Rex.
"At least I get a pretty girl touching me." Rex winked at me. I rolled my eyes.

Ninja Kei's POV
My anger was boiling when Rex said those words to Miyo, who the hell think he is??
I wanted him to shut his mouth but I controlled my anger. Miyo is just gonna get into Rex's mind so we can trust him, I just already wished he never joined.
Miyo is already in the haze and was knitting Rex's arm.
"Woah it's like a massage but something softer." Rex looked at Miyo with awe and I literally want to throw him out of here.
I hate that she gets to touch him, I stepped forward but Liu hold my chest, I looked at him and he shaked his head motioning not to bother them.
I just curled my hands into a fist.
"Is she always this soft? No wonder she looks so pretty." Rex can't stop blabbering his mouth.
"Yeah yeah but she's taken so stop talking." Popo said.
"Wait she's ta-" Rex was cut off by Liu.
"3 minutes is done!" Liu hold his timer up, he looked at me and winked.
I walked up to them and took off Miyo's hands away from Rex's arms as he pouted.
In a few seconds she was back to herself but almost slipped if I didn't hold her, she looked at me and faintly blushed.
"You okay Miyo?" I asked.
"Yeah I'm fine, just takes energy to do these things." Miyo looked away from me then looked at Liu.
"Everything's good." Liu nodded and looked at Rex.
"Obviously you're not fully trusted but maybe while staying with us for a few more days we can at least trust you little by little, one wrong move and we don't trust you anymore." Liu said.
Rex saluted at him and looked at Miyo, "The names Rex." He bowed and took Miyo's hand for a kiss but she quickly removed them away from his hands.
"And I want to go back to my room." Miyo rolled her eyes and not knowingly squeeze my hands and walked away.
Rex's shoulder slouched and I almost wanted to laugh at him.

Anyway I wanna thank you guys again!! Sorry if I haven't been uploading, sometimes it's hard to get motivation and everytime I see the views and votes, it makes me happy and just want to write more chapters.
School's starting in Tuesday so idk if I will update more but I'll try.
