Darkness. Black. Nothing was visible. I was in an endless room of nothingness, but it was somehow filled with everything. Noise. Lots and lots of noise. Voices, all calling out one thing in particular. Lydia. Lydia. Lydia. I fumble around, feeling what feels like a wall, walking until I come to some sort of door handle. I try to push it down, twist it, push the door, pull it, but nothing happens. The voices are getting louder, and it's getting easier for me to pinpoint where they're coming from. They're coming from directly behind me, and when I turn, I see a tiny speck of light not far from me. Feeling the need for light, I shuffle towards it, getting more reassured the closer I got. The light had turned into a door way, where I could see my friends, my boyfriend, my family. I call out to them, but no sound is produced, and before I reach them, I feel hands grab me around my tiny waist, pulling me from the ground, and further away from the doorway of light and family.
"GET OFF ME, GET OFF ME" I cry, but once again nothing comes out of my mouth. I start screaming my silent screams again, and I start to hit and fight back at whatever had a hold of me.
"Lydia stop, you're hurting me."
"GET OFF ME!" I scream again, and this time I manage to make a sound, and I realise that the darkness has disappeared and has been replaced by the warm glow of my night light.
"Lydia, honey, calm down, and please let go of me." It was Charlie, my boyfriend, he was pushing my hair from my face with one of his hands and I realise I had hold of his other hand, and it was turning a purple colour from where I had been holding on too tight, and I quickly let go.
It was all a dream. It was all just a dream. I let out a long sigh, and started to sob.
"Shh, shh, it's okay Lyds, shh." Charlie pulls me into a tight hug and I snuggle into his bare chest. "Tell me about your nightmare love."
"It... was so... real," I manage before my tears take over.
"Was it the same one honey?"
I nod. I'd been having this nightmare for weeks now and it wasn't stopping. Charlie had been so good to me, staying over as often as he could, and I felt so protected in his arms.
"We only have a couple hours till school, so try to get a little more sleep, okay? I love you lots."
"I love you too," I replied and kissed him gently on the lips, before he lifted me so that I was facing away from him, and he cradled me in a big teddy bear hug.

"Lydia Hart."
"Yes miss," I call out.
"Charlie Hughes,"
"Yes miss."
"Jason Jefferies"
"miss."
I take a deep breath and increase the strength of my grip of Charlie's hand. My OCD had been messing with me today, and really frustrating me. The fact that Jason hadn't said 'yes' before he said 'miss' really pissed me off and I was already starting to feel very anxious before first lesson had even started.
Mrs Starland was now reading out the notices for the day,
"Lydia Hart and Charlie Hughes, please go to the Head Team meeting today at the beginning of lunch."
"Oh shit," I whisper, "I forgot to sort out and organise the council meeting." I drop my head into my arms resting on the table. I'm close to tears, when Charlie rubs my back reassuringly, and whispers in my ear,
