Accepting Rejection

Kaden's POV

'Accept it, it will hurt less' was all she said before walking away.

Me and my wolf were in so much pain that we just shifted in midair and ran past our pack members. I could hear them calling me to come back or stop but I couldn't. It hurt too much I needed to get home.

I needed to get back to my pack. It only took me ten minutes to get back. I was really fast.

When I got back I went to the pond my grandfather showed me. I laid down and both me and my wolf were balling our eyes out.

Both of us were asking the same question. Why did mate reject us? After about ten minutes my wolf was silent.

I knew something else was wrong he was never this silent.

'What's wrong' I asked him

'I don't wanna tell u'

'why'

'I can't hurt you more'

'tell me, it hurts more knowing you're keeping secret'

'mate had sex with 15 different men, more than once, I smelt it on her'

I was speechless.

'kaden it will be ok'

I whimper

'let's accept the rejection and break the bond, I can't see you hurt like this'

I couldn't say anything and just then I felt an agonizing pain in all over my body

'kaden she is sleeping with another man'

I cried out, it hurt so much

'Kaden accept it'

'Accept it Kaden'

I shift to human form and I said it 'I Alpha Kade accept the rejection of my mate'

And then instantly the pain vanished. I felt so lonely and unloved.

'I love you Kaden' kaleb said

'I love you to kaleb'

And with that I shifted to wolf form and gave the most agonizing and painful howl ever.
