The strange form of Ganon roared out at you ducked under a laser from its mouth. You grabbed onto the side of your trusty horse and rode back around it. Pelting it with arrows. Was this truly having an effect on this... thing? Your faith began to slip a little bit as a voice echoed in the back of your mind.

Zelda: You're close (Y/N)! Keep going.

The voice stopped as you focused on what she said. You had to do this, for her. To save the girl you love. With a new determination you returned to the onslaught on the beast, it flinching at the arrows and swinging wildly at you. Arrows and arrows embedded into the beasts skin until finally, an opportunity showed itself.

Zelda: There! You're so close!

The beast roared and stood on its hind legs as you took aim at the golden circle on his chest, this was it! You let the faithful arrow go as it pierced right through the circle.

Zelda: Yes!

The beast roared and begun to fell backwards as a golden star left its mouth. The star landed in front of you as the beast toppled backwards, shaking the ground. You're horse bucked under the stress and jumped upwards, launching you off its back. You fell to the ground roughly as you watched the star materialize into a girl. There she was...

(Y/N): Zelda...

Zelda appeared in a golden glow, a angelic white dress covering her body as she stared down Ganon. She raised her hand as a giant golden dome encased the demon. Ganon letting out one final roar before being encased in the dome. As it disappeared, Ganon left with it as well. A peaceful quiet covering the field. It was just you and her now. You stared at the back of her as she lowered her hand.

Zelda: I believed, no I knew you could do it. You always do it.

She turned to you, tears pricking her eyes as she began walking to you. You grunted as you got to your feet and ran to her as well. The second you both embraced was like magic, you picked her up and twirled her. Ignoring all the protest your sore body was giving you.

(Y/N): I've missed you.

You put her back down on her feet as she looked up at you, nothing but love and admiration in her eyes.

Zelda: I've missed you too.

An awkward silence ensued for a second before the results of the fight caught up to you. You grunted in pain as you fell forwards. The last thing you see is the panicked looked in her eyes before you succumbed to exhaustion.

*TIMESKIP*

You batted your eyes awake as the sun glared into your eyes.

(Y/N): Where am I?

Zelda: Not sure exactly where we are.

The noise panicked you awake as you opened your eyes fully, you looked up at Zelda as she looked around. Trying to figure out where you were. 

(Y/N): What happened?

Zelda: You passed out after your fight, I got us comfortable against a tree and let you get some sleep.

(Y/N): So it wasn't a dream.

She giggled at this as she looked down at you, that same loving look in your eyes. You looked up at her as well as you both got a serious look, the moment becoming obvious. Slowly you leaned up to her and took her lips with yours. She leaned down into the kiss as she wrapped an arm around your neck. This was everything, the sparks were electric. You wanted it to last forever but you broke away to get some oxygen back. You kept your hand on her cheek as you looked back up at her.

(Y/N): Zelda.

Zelda: Yes (Y/N)?

(Y/N): I love you.

A crimson blush covered her face as she looked down at you. But it was quickly replaced with happiness.

Zelda: I love you too (Y/N).

She leaned back down in to kiss you as you put your arm around her neck. You were like that for hours before night set, enjoying each other's company in newfound ways.

Zelda: Let's get you home (Y/N).

(Y/N): Our home now Zelda.

She giggled at this as you she helped you to your feet.

Zelda: Right, our home!

(Y/N): I wouldn't have it any other way!.

Zelda: I wouldn't either, now let's go.

You both began to walk off to the village as you thought to yourself, you had finally done it!

Zelda: After you recover. remind me to teach you how to ride a horse.

(Y/N): Why is that?

Zelda: I remember someone falling off of theirs. Where is your horse by the way?

(Y/N): ...
