(Xander point of view after he leaves Jasper on the night.)
Xander kisses Jaspers head one last time before slowly leaving the apartment. He looks back at his sleeping mate when he says "It's funny 'cause I've always dreamed of me and you. Now here we are staring at the stars. I just broke your heart even though I promised I would never do that from the start. But I guess we can only make it so far." He wipes a tear as he runs off to go find Maria. For awhile he is always a few feet behind Jasper watching him and makeing sure he is okay. He watches the male as he sits in the bed crying "Cause time wasn't in our favour. This isn't goodbye, this is simply see you later."
(When Jasper meets Alice)
Xander watches as Jasper is talking to a girl he smiles sadly as he says "I'll let you know when it's my time to come back. Maybe when your life is on track and I don't have to hesitate. Hopefully it isn't too late. Luckily for you, I'm patient. I hope your okay with me making you wait and as long as you're near, I'll be here. Even if it takes ten years."
(In Maria's hide out)
Maria's getting mad at Xander for not doing what she told him to. "God if your so hung up on Jasper why don't you just find a new lover." Xander gasped and said "Can't fall in love, when I found the one. How am I supposed to move on. When he's never really too far gone. The memories won't go away. I feel pain every time I hear hi name. But I always think of him the same." He shakes his head as he says "You made sure time wasn't in our favor! I didn't get to say goodbye or a simple see you later!" Maria sighs "Your not as strong as you was with him." She snaps her fingers and some of her guards grab Xander and run him to tower and locking him in it. Xander punches the wall as he screams "I just wanna let him know that i wanna come back! Since my life is on track! I don't won't to hesitate! Hopefully it isn't too late! I've been patient! Is he okay with me making him wait! Jasper I hope I'm near you because I'm here. I'll go back to you even if it takes ten years!"
(A few years later after Xander is rescued by some teenagers who were exploring the Tower)
Xander follows the pull of his mate to Washington. He stands in the woods away from his mates hoes watching his mate. He wipes his blood tears as he whispers "Let me know when it's time to come back. Maybe when my life will be mine. I won't have to hesitate. Hopefully it isn't too late." He fills a hand touch his shoulder and looks up to see his mates dad. They both talk for a bit before he disappeares on spot to not let Jasper see him
He sits in a tree as he watches Carlisle tell Jasper about him. He watches as Jasper runs out of the house. He smiles at seeing his mate for the first time in years "Luckily for me, your patient. I hope you okay with me making you wait! Just know as long as you're near, I'll be here. Even if it takes ten years. Even if it takes ten years. Even if it takes ten years." He sighs and runs off again leaving his lover behind.
