" i'll be home in a sec.
the station is so crowded."

she said; she had called him the
moment his feet stepped into
his apartment, right after he said,
hello, i'm home.

" you know i can teach
you how to drive,"

he replied, dropping
his bag on the floor
by the door and
scratched the
thinning
spot on his head.

he could her soft muttering
of excuse me and
apologises mixed
with curses,
" i don't like driving."

" give it a few spins."
he smiled,
" you'll love it."

she laughed.

" did you miss me?"

he smiled, " ja."
he kicked his shoes off
shrugging the jacket.

" good. buzz me in, benni."

he did then he waited,
leaning against the back
of the sofa for the door to open up;
it did and out came a girl.

a girl in trench coat, beads of sweat
on the side of her face.
hair pooled on the right side of
her face

there was no hint of her usual
matte lipstick, the eyeliner
might have run down
from the heat;
the heels on her left hand,

her pantyhose-clad feet rested on
the cold cement,
toes curling from the
cold

" i had
crazy day."
she started

he smiled. she dropped her bag.
the door closed and she kissed him.
softly, gently,
as if he was going to crumble
right underneath her.

they went to the couch and he held
her; from the back
arms around her neck

he touched her wrists and hands
feeling up elbow
down to her waist

so he hiked her dress up until he
saw the end of the pantyhose
she was wearing around
the waist.

she got up, straddling him
this time
the dress pooled around
the waist
he could see the black
lines of her underwear
underneath it.

" i lost my hair band."

he snorted, " skip to the crazy part,"

she chuckled, " that is the crazy part
i lost my
hair band."

he watched her lifted the hair pulling
the strains into her grip above her
head;

her eyes looked down
on his-
then she dropped it, letting it fell
down in front of her face.

she might have swiped it aside
when she decided to lean down
and kissed him-

but he could feel the
littlest strain
sticking on her dry lips
against his wet own

but it was okay
he's good

and then he remembered
