Ch 1 - Another Elemental Master

It has been over a month since the loss of Alex and things have changed since then.

Outside in the woods were a few nindroids. They were protecting a secret room. Inside the room was a locked vault.

What the nindroids didn't see was that they were being watched by a certain someone. They were camouflaged by a field of yellow flowers. They sneakily approached the nindroids.

Suddenly an energy blast was summoned and it took out one of the droids. The other robots were alerted and they started to shoot lasers in the direction of where the energy blast was summoned. Ebony then came out of the flower field and summoned another energy blast that took out the rest of the droids.

She then stole a key card from one of them and used it to open the doors.

Inside were more nindroids but they didn't see Ebony, she was hiding in the shadows. She saw the security cameras and used her power to destroy one of them. The nindroids got suspicious and ran to the entrance, while shooting lasers. Ebony then sent all her power and created a large energy blast. From the force, the nindroids fell and were demolished.

Ebony then ran to the vault. She sent more of her power to the keylock and that triggered it and forced the door to open. There, Ebony saw the golden armour.

Ebony was about to go take it, but one nindroid that was barely in shape was able to grab her leg and slammed Ebony to the floor.

"Agh!"

"You got closer then I thought you would," said Dr Ford.

At that point, the woods changed into Ford industries, revealing that Ebony was never in the woods but was training with the help of a hologram.

"To be honest, I don't think anyone can steal the golden armour if I can't," Ebony explained as she then placed her hands on the handle bars of Mason's wheelchair and wheeled him out. Usually E.V.A.N would be doing this but he wasn't here. Yang followed along.

"I am pleased to know that these holograms have been helping you train," said Mason. "I see your improvements, Ebony."

"Thank you, Mr Ford."

"Where are the others, Ebony?" asked Yang. "I asked for everyone to be here."

"Apologies, sensei, but... things have changed..." Ebony replied, with a frown.

"Oh! I know the loss of Alex is heart breaking. My assistant, E.V.A.N, hasn't spoken to me in awhile..." Dr Ford explained.

"Yeah... he's been distant with us too, even with Luna," Ebony stated. "Things have changed with her family as well. Emily has lost her confidence to perform in another dance recital. She quit ballet and her mother has lost her a spark in her eyes."

"You four must continue your training, even without Alex," said Yang. "You four are still a team, you cannot drive each other apart, because one of your siblings is now gone. Instead of being distant, you should become stronger and closer to each other."

"I'll do my best to get everyone back together, but it will not be easy," Ebony explained.

"The greatest lessons never are," Yang stated.

Ever since Alex sacrificed herself for the city, Mira had returned to her old life as a lumberjack. The only difference was that Kyle was not with her.

She placed a small log on top of a tree stump and then got her axe and sliced the log in half. She then placed a new log and did the same motion. She was gasping for air but didn't stop, she felt the need to keep going.
