Bada accelerated down the city streets, and you did not know where she was taking you. Despite your anger toward her, the alcohol had clouded your thinking. Her jealousy over you dancing with another girl baffled you- why was she even at the same club? What had provoked her reaction, and why were you now in her car? The questions swirled in your mind, and for the first time in what felt like an eternity, you broke the silence with a quiet voice.

"Bada, where are we going?" You started fidgeting with your fingers.

"Does it really matter?" Bada responded as she brought the car to a halt at a red light, her gaze was intense and made you shy. "See." she continued, unlocking the car doors, "You are free to leave anytime, angel." She raised an eyebrow, leaving the decision in your hands.

Almost immediately you reached for the door handle, but a sudden wave of reality washed over you. It was late at midnight, you were drunk, far away from your apartment, and the quiet, dimly lit streets outside the car felt unfamiliar and somewhat worse than being in the car with Bada. The impracticality of leaving in such circumstances made you hesitate, your hand retreating from the door handle as soon as you gave it a second thought.

"Mhmm, that is what I thought." Bada replied, her grip on the steering wheel unyielding.

The anger you felt inside you was immeasurable, and you could not hold it back any longer.

"I fucking hate you, Bada." You said without missing a beat. "I wanted today to be a good day. It's been a whole year since you left me in the dark- I bet you didn't even realize that, did you?"

As the car continued to slice through the night, the tension inside the vehicle felt palpable, the air heavy with unresolved emotions and unanswered questions.

"Why do you think I don't remember?" Bada replied, her voice taking on a hint of vulnerability.

Her eyes remained fixed on the road ahead as she continued to drive, and her voice, strangely, sounded more sincere than it had in a long time.

"Why do you think I was at that club?" She said, her speech laced with a mixture of regret and longing that seemed more genuine than her earlier demeanor.

Her admission caught you off guard, making you shift uncomfortably in your seat.

"I knew you were going." She continued. "I wanted to see you. I had no intention of bothering you, really, but as soon as I saw you so close to that girl, jealousy just overwhelmed me, the way you danced with her seemed so intimate."

Bada exhaled deeply, she was frustrated with herself more than the situation. She shook her head, her fingers gently going through her long hair, it was a subtle sign of how she felt inside, her actions spoke volumes, hinting at emotions and thoughts she had been suppressing for far too long.

"The thought of you leaving the club with her... made me feel something deep inside me." She said that last sentence in a low and husky voice, making it seem as she did not want you to hear her.

The dimly lit car felt heavy, Bada's confession added complexity to an already tangled web of feelings that had been festering for an entire year, and you could not help but wonder if there was more to the story.

"I will take you home now, I am sorry Y/N." Bada said as she took a U-turn in direction of your apartment.
