In an undisclosed locations conference room a group of 30 or more people are in a room talking amongst each other until a man in a white lab coat appears on a stage and announces himself "*clears throat* Hello my name Robert Fontaine and I would like to welcome you all to the scp foundation"the group of people give him a welcoming applause as he looks at his notes then back towards the crowd"now before we begin I would like to ask this to all within this room you won't be judged or called out so just answer honestly*looks around and sees people talking to each other and murmuring to themselves* it's not a personal question just a small general one." The crowd quiets down to hear what will be said" show of hands to those who've seen things that are unexplained or unnatural something anomalous*looks around* huh wow quite a few we'll then I can assume you've been laughed out of standing and that's how you ended up here then well to those who answered and didn't want to answer let me present you with a choice the door is right there and a guard will present you with a drug called an amnesic you can take and we can forge a new identity for you. However if you choose to stay here and mind you this job is permanent you be privy to technology you could only dream of history, creatures, flora and fauna you were never taught and you will ve at the forefront if the scientific community*the crowd murmurs with sound of surprise and curiosity* well now calm down before I continued i would also like to say that your achievement won't be known by all only by a selected few your achievements won't be celebrated but continue helping humanity as a whole in the dark now anyone who wants to walk out the door is right there" as doctor Fontaine looks around the room he notices that none of them dared walk out could it be out of fear or curiosity? he didn't care that much honestly a smirk graced his lips as he said"ok guess you all are ready to climb down the rabbit hole well then...* a projector that activate showing a symbol of a white shield with 3 equidistant protrusions inside the shield there are 3 equidistant arrows piercing a white circle outlined in black* now to answer a question some or alot of you might be thinking who are we? Well to answer that question we are the scp foundation an scientific and military organisation empowered and trusted by world governments to do what our namesake suggests secure ,contain and protect ironically this 3 fold statement can be technically 6 we contain certain paranormal events,people,places from the public to both lessen the entities effects of the public and the publics effects on it, we secure the entity to protect it from the public and vice versa and finally we protect both the entity and the public although mostly the public and probably on certain cases the entity we are not the only group who deals in this anomalous world there are others mind you and alot of them are not as somewhat ok as us but that besides the you might learn about them later but back to the topic at hand we're a military and science outfit that protects the public and preserves normalcy now this will be the first meeting we will have with you newbies and there will be a few more but...*looks around* let me be the first to say*smirks* welcome to the foundation it'll only get weirder and stranger then this." The "meeting" ends as the crowd disperses and Mr Fontaine looks around and with a smirk on his face"well time to get these newbies prepared for a life in this superstitious foundation" Mr Fontaine walks to an elevator and pressed a button labeled -2 then elevator doors then closed and descended downwards.

(Well then another chapter done and dusted will probably try to brainstorm another piece maybe not on the foundation but possibly on a goi or poi so this is agent-e signing out)
