"Neither his father, his mother, not anyone else but Rose, ever knew what became of him all those 300 years ago."

The scene changes to a young woman with long curly hair tied in a ponytail, a witches hat on her head stood at the front of the class telling the tale. Her purple eyes sparkling with interest and excitement.

"And so, the Sanderson siblings were hanged by the Salem town folks."
She continued, walking down one of the aisles of desks as she exaggerated her words a bit, to make it more interesting.

"But, there are those who say that on Halloween night, a black cat still guards the old Sanderson house," She smirks at this, knowing full well that Binx did in fact, guard the house on Halloween night. The rest of the year he was at her house.

"Warning off any who might make the witches come back to life." She paused, seeing a girl roll her eyes at the story and smirks. She takes something out of her pocket and yells as she throws it at the girl, making her yelp in fear. The rest of the class laughs as the girl calms down with a relieved smile on her face. The woman laughs along with her class, clapping her hands together in success.

A teenage boy with brown hair looks up from his paper and rolls his eyes. "Gimme a break." He mutters in irritation. The class laughter simmers down as the woman looks over at the boy with a raised brow "Uh huh." She walks over to him with a hand on her hip. "We seem to have a skeptic here in our midst. Max, would you care to share your laid-back, tie-dyed, point of view?"

Max looks up at the woman with a 'really' look and she just chuckled and crossed her arms, looking at him expectantly. He laughs slightly at his sister's impatience and smiles, he couldn't stay annoyed with her for too long. "Okay. Granted that you guys here in Salem are all into these black cats and witches and stuff, Ms. Dennison."  Ms. Dennison scoffs at his words and looks around at her other students. "Stuff?" She raises a brow and smirks as her other students grumble at Max's words, letting her know that everyone is on her side.

"Fine. But everyone here knows that Halloween was invented by the candy companies." Ms. Dennison gasps in disbelief at her brother's words, making him roll his eyes at his sister's overreaction. "It's a conspiracy." He finishes his explanation.

"It just so happens that Halloween is based on the ancient All Hallows' Eve." A girl speaks up, making Mad and everyone else turn to her. She laughs as she continues "It's the one night of the year where the spirits of the dead can return to earth." She finished with a knowing smile.
The class claps and cheers while Ms. Dennison smiles at her favorite student.

"Well done, Allison. Thank you for putting my brother in his place for me." She claps as Allison smiles at her with a satisfied smile. Max gets up with a paper in hand and walks over to Allison with confidence. "Well, in case Jimi Hendrix shows up tonight, here's my number." He gives her the paper with his number on it. Allison opens it to indeed reveal his number and name on it. The class oo's at him while his sister just shakes her head in amusement.
