Me and Seungmin were currently out walking on the streets of Gangdong, getting food, going shopping, and just talking. We were as carefree as ever, we had no thoughts of the public, or Dispatch. After 3 hours of doing that, we went back to his dorm, walking in holding a bunch of bags, all for me (dont worry i bought them myself) noticing all of the members standing infront of the door with their arms crossed.
Felix pulled out his phone and showed us an article, "whats this?"
Kim Seungmin and Maeng Miyoung Dating
Kim Seungmin of the kpop group straykids, was seen out and about the streets of Gangdong, holding hands with the recently debut soloist Maeng Miyoung.
me and seungmin looked at eachother confused, looking back at everyone, I spoke up, "That's edited. Me and Seungmin didnt hold hands at all when we were out." seungmin nods his head, and spoke up himself.
"Miyoung is actually really scared about us even being seen in public, and when i had first asked her out she was very hesitant because of how fans and netizens act, so why now would she want to hold my hand?"
Bangchan sighed, "You know JYP is gonna ask you to come talk to him, and you are gonna need to figure out what to tell him. You may need to come clean and tell him you're dating."
Me and seungmin nodded our heads, and as if JAYWHYPOOPEE was listening, Bangchans phone rang, he answered it and we could hear JAYWHYDYOUPEE asking if he knew where we were.
Seungmin and I headed out to go meet with JYP in his office. We arrived not to long after and walked in after knocking, immedietly bowing down.
"I'm sure you guys know why I called you here." he stated, looking up at us both for an answer.
I was about to talk, but Seungmin stopped me, "Sir, me and Miyoung are dating, but those photos were edited. Me and her refuse to hold hands in public for the safety of ourselves, due to fans."
"Seungmin, you know that dating is not allowed until 3 years after debut." His face had a clear look of disappointment.
"Sunbaenim, i promise you that just because me and him are dating, wont effect our idol lives, me and him have been dating since before i even auditioned, and when my debut arrived, i didnt have any distractions. Me and him are both very set with our careers. The both of us can still be idols and work just as hard, even while dating. We perform just as hard as we would if we werent dating, we sing just as well as we would if we werent dating, we get our schedules done each day, just the same as we would if werent dating. Seungmins recent concert, i went to, when we were dating, and he performed amazingly. Please, just give this a chance and if it fails to work, you can kick me out, but not Seungmin." I replied, making sure not to sound rude.
"Okay." JYP said, "You will need to either come clean to fans, or I will do it for you. You may leave."
We went back to the dorms, where the staff was.
"Can we do a short live on Instagram to explain everything please?" Seungmin asked the staff, who told him yes.
Me and Seungmin set up both of our phone, side by side and turned on Instagram live, more people joined his than mine, but thats pretty obvious. You could see that most of the comments were talking about us dating.
After a couple minutes, Seungmin said something, "Hello Stay, and MIS" (MIS is miyoungs fandom name, pronounce Mees, similar to bees with an m instead of a b) "We wanted to clarify and address some of the things that have recently been shared about us. So first, me and Miyoung are dating. But those photos were edited, we didnt hold hands in public, because none of us wanted to see the extent some fans would go to if me and her did hold hands publically. After talking with JYP, the three of us have agreed that us dating wont have any effects on what we do as an idol, and how we perform. So please Stay, dont hurt Miyoung in anyway, and the same for MIS, dont hurt me in anyway."
My turn to talk arrived, "I don't want threats sent to either of us, just because we love eachother. I understand Seungmin is a popular idol, and a lot of people like him, because I was one of you guys. But even when i was just a fan, if Seungmin had started dating anyone else, i wouldnt have done anything to hurt them, so please dont do that to me. Thank you" and with that, both lives ended.
