Chapter 16 You Got It

Izzy's POV

"1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8..." I counted as we started our last moves for rehearsal.

"And one!" I counted again.

"Okay guys let's do it one more time just to fine-tune it." I exclaimed.

"Hey, Izzy." Owlette called my name as she walked up to me.

"Yeah." I answered.

"I have to be somewhere." Owlette said.

"The PJ masks and I have to do a mission." Owlette told me.

"Sure, but don't do it all the time." I said.

"Thank you!" Owlette thanked me as she ran out of studio A.

"2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8..." I counted as we started to rehearse again.

"1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 1.." I continue to count but then stopped.

"Okay guys just stop." I told them as I was kind of frustrated with Jake at the moment he is just standing there not even getting involved.

"Why aren't you doing it Jake?" I asked.

"I'm not marking these ridiculous moves that is it. Bop!" Jake exclaimed.

Jake's not trying at all right now is crucial time and we need that be working on this routine so that it's prefect for regionals.

"How are they ridiculous? We made them up as a team." I told him.

"Yeah, actually I think Izzy's moves are pretty cool Jake." Misty exclaimed.

"Thanks for defending me Misty!" I thanked her.

"Really?" Jake exclaimed.

"Yes?" I said.

"Cos I don't recall giving any input." Jake told me.

"So, I guess I'm not part of this team." Jake said as he walked away.

That's when Peter knocked on the window for Jake to come to his office.

Peter noticed that Jake's not trying at all and right now I thinks that he's going to get in a little bit if trouble.

"He's in trouble." Everyone all said.

"Let's take it from the lyrical." I told them.

Jake's POV

As Peter and I were sitting down, we started to chat.

"You've just lost your dance Captaincy. I know it's a huge deal. I know you're going through a lot Jake.

"Was I that bad as a dance captain?" I asked.

"Jake don't even say that you were phenomenal that's why I chose you." Peter excited.

"Why couldn't you stick to that choice? Also another thing, why did you let them vote?" I wanted to know.

"I know that we've worked so hard for so long..." Peter started but than stopped.

"But.." I started to say.

"But everyone still needs you, Jake to help guide them." Peter told me.

"Also to be apart of the team and to help guide them." Peter exclaimed.

"Peter, you don't have a clue on what I am feeling right now." I said.

"Jake, you know I was dance captain once." Peter reminded me.

"Yeah, everyone knows." I answered.

"Did you know that I lost my dance captaincy." Peter said which shocked me.
