Part 1: Forgotten Potential. Chapter 1: The Victim and Her Hero Intertwined

             As Jagged was taken in and adopted by the Higher-Ups of Southern Division of the Bounty Hunting Training Corps, he was given given food, a bath, and new clothes. He asked the Higher-Ups if he could consider them his 'parents', and they all swore to keep him by his side. As Jagged grew older, first, he was being taught how to control his Shionhō powers and not accidentally create a burst if he's extremely angry. The more he watched on the trainees learn how much easier they can control their Shionhō powers, he began questioning himself why it is difficult for him. Is it because he was a child? So he decided to visit the one responsible for the entire Southern Division: a wise Plasmablademan Takeo Dread-Demon with the title of a Magister.
           8-year-old Jagged gently and a bit nervously slid the Japanese-fashioned sliding door, and did not dare to step inside the room without the Magister's permission "M-Magister Dread-Demon.." Magister Dread-Demon turned to Jagged and smiled "Jagged, sweetie, you're always welcome to my headquarters. It seems like something is bothering you." "Mhm..." Jagged nodded and entered, slowly sitting down "I've been watching on the Shionhō-sensitive trainees for a while and.. I don't understand how much easier they're able to get ahold of their Shionhō powers.. Why can't I do that? Is it because I'm just a kid?" Magister Dread-Demon sighed "I knew you would forget this one day... The reason why the Fectrixes wanted to kidnap you 3 years ago is your incredible level to Shionhō sensitivity. In other words, your sensitivity is extremely strong. It's considered an anomaly that should be kept under a strict watch." Jagged was shocked "Wh-What happens if I hurt somebody?!" "That's why we're making sure to keep you under our watch to see if you don't accidentally destroy something with your Shionhō. Don't worry, Jagged. No matter what happens with you, I will be near." Magister Dread-Demon smiled again as Jagged hugged him and thanked him.

          Jagged wasn't as free as he thought he was going to be.. He could not go out into the outside world as he feared his own Shionhō powers. He feared that he might accidentally destroy something when he cannot control his emotions. His fear caused him to be quite introverted and anxious around everyone. He did not feel safe around society because of his fear... And once on his first year of high school, he had the first biggest emotional burst... He spotted a group of bullies trying to 'seduce' a girl from one of the most well-known families in the entire Shingao. That girl wasn't just from any famous family, she belonged to one of the 4 Clans peace-protectors: the Shinomiya Clan. Jagged demanded the group to leave the girl alone, but they instead aimed for him and prepared to beat him up for interrupting a 'personal' matter. However, Jagged used his incredible Shionhō abilities and acrobatics and took them down one by one until they were unconscious. The girl from the Shinomiya Clan was impressed and just as when she wanted to run up to Jagged and thank him for saving her, he was gone. And like that, she was left out wondering who was her mysterious hero...

          2 years passed since Jagged saved the girl from the Shinomiya Clan from a group of bullies. And not a single day of those 2 years Jagged spent thinking about that girl. She was stuck in his mind.. He did manage to take a glimpse of her, and dreamed of meeting her once again, but he was highly unsure if they are ever going to meet and recognize each other.. He is 18 now, and gets ready for his last year of high school(On Shingao, Shijeuhoes study at school for 13 years. 4 of elementary and high school, and 5 years of middle school. They start school at 6 years old and finish at 18 or 19 years old). However Jagged seems not to be too happy about that... It was noticed by a Higher-up who teaches how to use Bounty Grapple Flyer Gear: Lauren Crioshinda "Jagged, vesa honchoke(is everything alright)?" Jagged sighs "Dono(No)... It's not the last high school year I'm worried about, it's-" "The girl you saved from the bullies 2 years ago." "Yeah... I'm still thinking that if I graduate, I might never see her again.. Because I want to believe that she's in the same school as me!" Lauren chuckled "You sound like a prince who's in desperate search for his princess." "No I don't-" "Yes you do. Now, let's get going." Lauren made her way to the exit and Jagged was surprised "Y-You're dropping me out today?" "Mhm, hurry up, we only have 40 minutes." Jagged gasped at the response and stood up, saluting "YES MA'AM-! Wait, who's picking me up-?" Lauren snickered "Oh, your habits never change- Li-Jun will be free tonight.".
          It took a bit more than 30 minutes to get to one of the prestigious comprehensive schools in Hika-Yue: Chaehoyiong. The building was 4 floors tall and divided into two wings: east and west. Upon the arrival, Jagged checked his holographic phone and was shocked, it was 2:53 PM(Almost every Shinganian school system has 2 shifts: morning and afternoon ones. The morning shift starts at 9 AM and ends at 2:50 PM, and the afternoon shift starts at 3 PM and ends at 7:50 PM. The classes last 40 minutes). Jagged looked back at Lauren and waved her goodbye "Uvideya pore(See you later), Lauren-!" He ran into the school, afraid to be late, and Lauren also waved goodbye as she drove away.
