Part 1: Forgotten Potential. Chapter 2: A New Friend, Or a New Enemy?

          On the next day in the morning, Jagged decided to go out and take a walk on the roofs of the Division buildings. Everyone else was pretty much busy and no one heard him.
         The environment around the Bounty Hunting Training Corps was like a flatland with honey-coloured grass and little rocky mountains, bushes and trees with glowing flowers. Jagged stopped just to look at golden environment and enjoy the silence of Shinganian nature. As he sat down, he saw a helmeted individual through the nearby trees, watching him. Then the individual ran off "OI(Hey)! Yo dua ideru(Where are you going)?!" Jagged jumped off the roof and started chasing the helmeted guy "HATIRIS AHORA E, OI(Stop right there, hey)-! Yo oto(Who are you)-?!" However, the individual sat on a speedership and drove away. This angered Jagged and he used Shionhō to stop the stranger and pull him back to where he drove off. It almost worked, until Jagged realized his state of emotions. Before the speedership could explode out of the heating pressure Jagged put into it with Shionhō, the individual took out a gun and shot Jagged in the forehead. The latter was knocked over, causing the Shionhō pressure to fade away and letting the helmeted guy drive away.
          Jagged awoke after a few seconds and stood up like nothing happened, although he was still angered and couldn't control himself.. Eventually, he let out an enraged screaming and created an unintentional Shionhō burst that blew and cut the grass away, approximately 13 feet in diameter. Jagged stopped screaming, finally realizing that he wasn't himself at the moment.. Then, he heard worried yelling closing in "JAGGED!! WHAT'S GOING ON?!" Akane ran up to Jagged and grabbed him by shoulders. Then she saw the blown away grass "Nu chare(well shit), I GUESSED it! Ake, let's go, we'll discuss it in the Corps." She started dragging Jagged back to the Corps.

          The two came back to the Corps "Yo, everyone, the kiddo let out a Shionhō Burst for the first time in YEARS!" The Higher-ups gasp in shock. Diego stood up and greeted his teeth, walking to Jagged "What were you even doing out there?!" "Th-There's a reason to it, I swear-!" Jagged backed away in fear. Diego growled and was about to pull Jagged's hair only to be stopped by Magister Dread-Demon "Diego, don't. You're just striking an unnecessary fear into him that can cause another burst, perhaps more powerful unlike the previous one." Diego sighed, calmed down by the wise and gentle voice of his superior "...Rogive mi(Forgive me), magister" He stepped back into his place and sat down, and so did Akane and Jagged. Magister Dread-Demon also came back to his seat "You just have to tell us what happened, Jagged. Whatever it is, we will understand.".
          Jagged sighed nervously "When I was walking on the roof.. Through the trees, I saw someone watching me..so I ran after them... Their face was masked by a helmet, so I can't describe them... When I thought I caught them, they drove away on a speedership.. This made me angry and I used Shionhō to try to pull them to myself, but...they shot me, and I fell, and they escaped.. I was still angered..." The Higher-ups were surprised. Lauren's companion, Li-Jun, seemed terrified the most "Pododie minuu(Wait a minute)-! No way this can mean that we've got a spy hanging on our tails!" "Whoever this helmeted individual may be, we've got to put up guards even outside the Division building. If they're associated with the Fectrix, we have to be prepared." Lauren calmly explained despite the stress about the situation. Jagged's eyes suddenly widened "What if they came for me..?" "We won't let that happen, Jagged. You're going to be okay." Magister Dread-Demon reassured "Your safety is very important to us, and we all swore to the God of Life and Peace to keep you away from the hands of the Fectrix." Jagged then bowed down as a thanks and Magister Dread-Demon smiled "You're free to go now, my youngling.".

         A few hours later, Jagged got ready for school, and Akane entered his room "Wooh, ready to go, superman?" Jagged was a bit surprised "You're dropping me out today?" "That's right bud, come on out!" Akane ran away and Jagged followed "Oh- and Diego's picking you up tonight!" Akane caught up as the two left to the parking lot of the spaceships "Make sure to not be late, we also have plans regarding the helmeted dude you met this morning." Jagged nodded "Okay...".
