YANGYANG // SAD AF

"If someone told me that 8 years after we met he'd be long gone I'd stand up and punch their mouth." I say followed by an empty chuckle with tears threatening to escape. "Yangyang was everything to me. Will always be everything to me." I say, voice breaking.

*Flashback*

(8TH GRADE)

"Hi. I'm Yangyang. What's your name?" The new boy says to me. "Hi Yangyang, I'm Y/N." I say smiling at him. "Let's be friends?" He says and I nod and we walk together to the cafeteria. "HEY Y/N HEADS UP." A random boy says and before I can process anything, a drink was thrown in my face. "Oops." The boy says while laughing with his friends. 'HEY! Apologize to her right now!" Yangyang says and the other boy walks right up to his face. "Or what?" and that was all that needed to be said before Yangyang smiles at him then completely knocks him out with one punch. "Come on Y/N let's go." He says and pulls me away.

*End of Flashback*

"I remember when he punched my bully the first day we met. That boy never messed with me again after that. I was so thankful for Yang. I think that was when I truly started having feelings for him." I say with tears streaming down my face reminiscing on every memory I have with him. "He truly was one of a kind. Very loving and very protective." I say and everyone lightly chuckles through their tears. "He was always by my side. A shoulder for me to cry on. I thanked God for giving him to me all the time." I say.

*Flashback*

(9TH GRADE)

"He's not worthy of your tears, Y/N. It will be alright." The boy says while holding me close to him. "I just wish he told me he fell out of love with me he didn't have to cheat." I say through my tears. "Shh it's okay. You will get through this. I know you will and I will be right by your side I promise. I will always be right by your side." He said while looking me in my eyes and I felt my heart race.

7 Months Later

"Hey Y/N, can we talk?" Yang says, sounding nervous. "Yeah what's up." I say immediately dropping whatever I was doing to focus on the boy I have developed feelings for. "I um well you see I um shit." He says and I giggle. "Yang calm down, take a deep breath. Now tell me what's up." I say grabbing his hand. "Okay. Y/N I um. I really like you. I know they say you're not supposed to fall for your best friend but I did. I fell and fell hard." he says and I'm stuck with wide eyes. "If you don't like me back it's fine I just-" he says but I cut him off with a quick kiss. "I like you too dummy." I say and he gives me a wide smile. "Can I kiss you?" He asks and I nod. "Yes you can kiss me." I say and he grabs me by my waist and connects our lips. I smile into the kiss while wrapping my arms around his neck.

*End of Flashback*

"I remember the first time we kissed. He confessed to me and we ended up kissing. Every kiss, even the last kiss felt like the first. The burst of fireworks and the butterflies. He never failed to make each one memorable." I say and I finally look up to the crowd of people sitting past the casket that held my husband's lifeless body. "God I miss you Yangyang." I say while sobbing. "I remember when you proposed. I remember our wedding day. I think that was the happiest day of my life after finding out about my pregnancy." I say while glancing down at my baby bump.

*Flashback.*

(11TH GRADE)

"Babe get ready, I'm taking you on a date." The newly pink haired boy says as he walks in. "Okay how should I dress?" I say and he looks at me for a moment. "Dress fancy, my love. I will be waiting for you downstairs." He says while giving me a quick peck. After I finish getting ready, he takes me to a fancy restaurant. "Reservation for Liu Yangyang." He says to the server at the front desk. "Right this way." The man says and he leads us to the rooftop. "Have a great evening." He says as we seat ourselves. Soon after someone comes to take our order and they quickly go and come back with our dinner. "Babe, how could you afford this?" I ask and he smiles at me. "Don't worry about that now. I have something to ask you." He says and starts to look nervous. "Y/N, my love, I know we are young, still in highschool so I will take any answer. But I love you. I love you every inch of my being and I know you are the person I want to spend the rest of my days with. I want to wake up with you next to me every morning and fall asleep seeing your face every night. Y/N will you marry me?" He says while on one knee. "Oh my god Yangyang, yes I will marry you." I say with tears in my eyes. He smiles and places the ring on my finger. "I love you so much." I say and kiss him. "I love you too." He says and connects our lips again.

1 ½ years later

(END OF HIGHSCHOOL)

"Do you, Liu Yangyang, take Y/F/N Y/L/N to be your lawfully wedded wife?" the officiant asks and Yangyang squeezes my hands while looking me right in my eyes. "I do." he says and smiles widely. "And do you, Y/F/N Y/L/N take Liu Yangyang to be your lawfully wedded husband?" he asks me. "I do." I say without hesitation and I smile at the man standing in front of me. "I now pronounce you Husband and Wife. You may kiss your bride." he says and Yangyang grabs me by my waist and instantly connects our lips. "I love you." he says with tears in his eyes. "I love you too." I say and kiss him one more time before we walk down the aisle together.

*End of Flashback*

"Finding out I was pregnant was definitely a mix of emotions. We weren't ready nor expecting it but we were definitely happy and excited to be parents." I say while smiling sadly at my bump.

*Flashback*

(6 MONTHS AGO)

"Baby it's okay." he says while we both look at the positive pregnancy test on the bathroom sink. "Is it really?" I say and he hesitantly nods. "I know it's not what we expected but maybe it's a blessing in disguise he says and looks at me. "But it's your body. If you're not ready we can go to the clinic." he says and I shake my head. "I want this. I'm so nervous and scared about how it'll go but I'm ready." I say and he kisses the side of my head. "I love you." he says and I smile at him. "I love you too." I say.

*End of Flashback*

"Losing you was not in our cards, Yang. I will never forget the call I got when they had told me that you passed away in a car accident. The pain I felt in my stomach. The breaking of my heart. The sound of my whole world falling apart. I miss you with every inch of my being. I will always tell our daughter about you, my beloved. I will forever cherish our very last kiss. May you forever rest peacefully, My husband. My best friend. My Yangyang." I say completely sobbing while looking at his face. I fell to my knees sobbing and longing to be held one last time by the man I love.
