It's been hours and she has not yet woken up. Her condition has worsened.

Her arms and legs are now black in colour with vaines rising up towards her chest and abdomen.

Her heart beat is slow...to the point they can bearly hear it.

"What are we going to do?" Asked a concerned Felix. "I don't know, Carlisle has not left her side as he can't do anything to save her, the wolves are passed out, with them having black vaines spreading all over their arms and necks, and worse Xander and Xavier will return soon and Eric will wake up soon..." A panicked Demetri said.

They all remained quiet, as each of the guards worry for their queen. "If she dies...Master Aro will regret ever turning me..." an angry Jane said.

They were each lost in thought as a painful scream ripped through the house...

It was as if the the house it's self shook from her sorrow and pain...

Demetri and Jane covered their ears as if it would stop the sound, as they felt her pain deep in their cores.

As Felix lost control of his anger, punching the wall and growling, needing to hold his instincts back, the urge to hold off her pain, destroy anything that harms her...

Alec was frozen, no movement, no sound, as that scream took him to a place he did not wish to follow...

'Alec honey what did I tell you about talking...hmm?"

As a vampire Alec stood stock still in a dark room with her moving around him...

Frozen in fear, before he felt a clawed hand slap him half way across the room, with permanent claw marks on his face...

'I'll ask again my dear...what did I say about talking...'she glided towards him

'Not to unless spoken to, and to hide the the truth or else...Jane will be killed...'

'Good boy now to make sure you don't forget...'

This was hundreds of years ago, he thought he had forgotten...buried it deep in his mind...yet her screams are way too close to his from that time...

The sound of a child crying snapped them out of their thoughts.

Alec was the first to move, returning with a fussy Eric in his arms, calling for his mother...looking frantically around the room for her.

When he had heard the screams again, causing him to scream for her...

"I'm sorry little one...I'm so sorry..." said Alec as he hugged him.

Soon a broken Carlise came out the room...

He looked at all of them and took Eric from Alec, "It's time to say your goodbyes, I'll get the boys and bring them home so they can too." He walked out the room heavy news in his wake.

One by one they each went to see her, Demetri bagging her to wake with venom in his eyes hugging her close "You promised Avi to stsy with me and be by my side...now you're going were I cannot follow...Please don't leave me..."

Felix caressing her cheek and hair placing a kiss on her head, with only anger at his core "I have failed you as a sire...just as we were reunited you go were I cannot find..."

Jane shedding venom holding her hand saying nothing, only trembling with withheld pain...

Alec laying his head in her lap, forcing her hands to caress his head "Please touch my head like you used to, sing to me, look at me! Do anything! Hit me, hurt me, hate me...just please come back and be ok...please...I just can't without you..."

When he left the room, Marcus and Caius barged into the house.

"Were..." is all he asked, before walking into the room seeing a dieing picture.

"Amore mia..." he looked stunned at her state, Marcus barley spoke as he walked into the room, sitting on her left, Caius her right.

They touched  her hands, hair, legs and face lovingly, caressing her, kissing her, all trying to make their bonds over lap the breaking one to ease the pain and hopefully bring her back.

"Marcus it's not working! She's slipping even more than before. I'm losing her, I can't feel her, she's fading!" Caius said in distress.

"No no no no no no NO! She'll be ALRIGHT! She has to be... we can't lose her...I CAN'T lose her! Not again! Please fates do not take another from me, I beg you, please!" Marcus broke down.

As they were lost in their pain and grief, failed to see the vampire with three children in the room.

"Grandpa why are they here and were is momma?" Asked a worried Xavier.

Carlisle pointed at the bed. The children walked foward to see the horrific state she's in.

"MOMMA!" Screamed Xavier as he and Xander jumped on to her bed. They shook her frantically trying to wake her but nothing happened. They saw as the darkness now grew until her face with only her eyes and lips showing.

Carlisle placed Eric on her belly and walked out of the room.

"Momma. Momma. Momma? MOMMA!" As he crawled to her face. Placing his hands on her face, trying to wake her before giving up and crying, crawling towards Cauis who had open arms for him.

"PAPA WHAT'S WRONG WITH HER! WHY WON'T SHE WAKE UP!" Xander asked Marcus.

"She's...She's leaving us, she's going away...forever." he answered in a broken tone.

"NO! NO! PAPA YOU ARE LYING,SHE WOULD NEVER LEAVE US! SHE PROMISED! SHE'D NEVER LEAVE! SHE PROMISED!" Xavier said in a panic as his separation anxiety kicked in.

Both sons watched as tears streamed down her face, and the last bit of darkness settled on her face, and her last breath was taken...

Everyone felt as the bonds connect them to her broke...

Caius and Marcus' screams rang through the house, accompanied by the childrens screams of pain and sorrow.

No one moved once they quieted down. Xander in Marcus' arms and Xavier in both the arms of the kings.

No one moved or made a sound...

Tragedy has struck and the wolves now wake up but the light in their eyes snuffed out.

They looked around the room and felt the sombra mood. "She's gone isn't she..." said a hollow Jared.

"I'm sorry you did not say goodbye..." said Felix.

"We did..get to but it was in the mindscape, she was losing and letting go..." Paul said broken with tears streaming down his hollw face.

It began to rain outside in condolence to the broken mood of the home...

They had each lost something,

A mother
A daughter
A mate
A sister
A friend

A loved one...

Hours passed with no moving or speaking, each lost in their memories of her...

All consumed by grief, pain and loss...

                                    Until they felt it...a     heartbeat...
