The tension was thick in the air. Marcus still had a possessive hold on me,and his glare on Felix.

"I'm sorry my lord, I had lost her scent at the time, its like she disappeared, there was no trace of her." He tried to explain.

"That is not an-" I placed my hand on his. "Calm Marcus, its alright," he looked reluctant but obayed.

I turned to Felix "What would you have done had you caught us that day?"

He looked me in the eye. "I would have brought you back to Volterra with me." "And what about my children, what would happen to them?" He was hesitant, "You would of had to separate from them as is the law..."

"Would you have hurt them, if you caught us..."

It was quite, everyone waited for an answer, "I don't know..."

I nodded and turned to go back into the house, "Avi you're just gonna be ok with this, they could be a danger to you and the kids and I won't allow that." Jared growled.

"Excuse you mutt we would never harm her or any her off spring, she is our queen. So watch your tounge." Demetri responded.

"We've heared that before, so excuse me if I don't believe you." Jared growled.

They were right in each other's face. "Well mutt we vampires take it seriously, unlike YOU and your kind."

"Wanna put it to the test leach." "Gladly mutt."

I had enough of this pissing match. "Shut. Up." Shadows appeared at my feet. My eyes black.

Marcus quickly rapped me in his arms and the scent of his cologne and old books comforted me.

"You will both calm yourselves and apologize to her. Immediately. "

"Sorry." They both said. "It's ok." I looked at Jared and stood infront of him. "I know that you are worried you and Paul have always been by my side and have protected me, you guys gave up everything for, you are my family," I hugged him and Paul.

"Please give them a chance, if they fail then they are not welcome, and you can happily do as you wish." He nodded.

"Now get ready, you know the drill." They smiled and ran into the house.

"Demetri and Felix, I don't trust you," I say looking at Felix. "But, if you are going to stick around then, I must try, you betray me and what happened to the little sprite will be a mercy." I walked into the house.

"Are you alright la mia vita?" Marcus asked looking down at me.

"I don't know yet, but it can wait, Carlisle is almost here with the boys." As I walked upstairs to their room.

"I was wondering, the youngest of your sons, Eric, does he go to a day care during the day?"

"No, he's still too young, so he stays with me, I drop the boys in the morning and spend the day with Eric, and durning training Carlisle will watch him."

He stood next to me as I grabbed clothing for the boys, surprisingly my sons are germephobes, they like being clean, so everday after school, clean clothes and a bath.

"Do you think, they will like me?" I looked at him.

We heared the sound of car doors closing, "Only one way to find out."

Carlisle decided to watch the boys today so that I could get to know Marcus. And from the laughter they had fun with grandpa.

I stood at the foyer waiting as the door opened and my boys ran to me.
