"Griiiimbaaald Weeeft.. was respooonsibleee for sooome of the mooooost impoooortant woooork dooone in the Gooooblin Rebeeeeellion of 1752 - such as seeeeeewing buuttons on wiiitches' and wiiizards' cooooats...."

Ominis and y/n sat in the classroom of History of Magic at their usual table. Y/n had a hard time keeping her eyes open. In her tiredness her head swayed from one side to the other and when she lost the battle against the sleep, she rested her head on Ominis' shoulder. A small string of saliva left her parted lips and landed on Ominis' cloak. His lips formed an amused smile as he enjoyed the closeness.

When Professor Binns floated past them, Ominis gently shook his shoulder to wake her up and to keep y/n out of trouble. He whispered in her ear "I can hear you snoring, Darling, and I'd hate to escort you to detention."

"Mhmm..." y/n's loud yawn was drowned by the Professor's voice

"Unfooortunatelyyyy we have reeeeached the eeend of this claaaaaass.." the last words of the teacher were cut off by rustling of paper and stomping of feets, as all the students were rushing out of the classroom.

Luckily, History of magic was the last class for today and the two made their way and left the school grounds.

"I know you wanted to show me a place you discovered, but is it really necessary not allow me to use my wand?" Ominis asked with a hint of suspicion in his voice

"Yes and we also have to take the broom to reach the location!" excited y/n summoned the broom out of her bag. When she saw Ominis' alarmed face, she assured him "Don't worry, I'll help you and make sure you don't fall off. Hold onto me and you'll be safe, do you trust me?" She took his hand.

"Of course, I do." Ominis said with a defeated sigh. In order not to overwhelm him, y/n put the broom in Ominis' hand so that he could get used to it.

Carefully, she swung one leg over the handle and wrapped Ominis' arms around her body. She couldn't help but laugh a little when she noticed that Ominis' hands were clinging onto her robes.

"Are you ready? I'm going to take off from the ground now, you'll feel like you're going to fall sideways, but you'll be okay!" Unable to speak any words and with clenched teeth, Ominis just nodded into her shoulder.

She pushed her feet off the ground, making sure that at first they glided forward slowly and without any difference in height. She felt Ominis wobble, but the broom made sure he didn't fall off. After a while, his grip on her robes relaxed a little. She guided the broom up into the air. "Do you think you're ready to pick up the pace a little?" y/n asked over her shoulder. "Uhm.. sure." his answer sounded more like a question.

Ominis' excited screams were numbed by the wind whipping in their faces. They flew across the school grounds and so high up, the sun's rays, unobstructed by trees or buildings, warmed their wind-chilled faces. Y/n could see the top of the mountain that they were heading towards. Just a few miles from the beautiful spot she discovered on her first day of 5th year, several fireworks were going off over the Zonko's store in Hogsmeade.

Pressed as close together as they sat one behind the other, y/n could feel Ominis' chest rise and fall with each breath. His hands were below her stomach and if they slipped down just a few inches, they would.. she tried to banish the thoughts. Now wasn't the right time.

A few minutes later she got ready to land. "Ominis, I'll slow down now and land soon. It's a strange feeling in your stomach at first, but it doesn't last long. It's best to draw your legs up so you won't hurt yourself when we land." she said to Ominis, who had been resting his chin on her shoulder.
