{Flashback}

3 years ago.....

Rain poured down, washing away my tears, but not my pain. I sat on the bench, lost in the darkness of my father's death. My uncle's cruel face haunted me.

A gentle touch on my shoulder broke the spell. A stranger, with kind eyes, sat beside me.

"Hey, are you okay?" she asked softly.

I shook my head, unable to speak, tears not stopping for even a while.

"Life's not fair, I know," she said trying to be understanding, as if anyone can understand what I am feeling right now.

"But that's what makes it precious. Every moment counts."Her words cut through my numbness, forcing me to look at her. Sincerity was visible in her eyes, she was being genuine. Does she understands what I am going through?

"M..my father...he's gone," I stammered.

"I'm so sorry," she said, her voice filled with empathy. I have heard the same thing for nth time today, nothing special. Everyone says the same thing.

"I know whenever things like this happen, we feel so lonely and left out. We feel as if everything has been snatched away from us, but let me tell you one thing. The person who has gone will be hurt, if you keep hurting yourself because of them. They do not want to become a cause of your tears."

" And you know what, fathers are always the best ones. They hardly open up about their feelings but they really love us and will go to any extent to keep us happy and when we are sad or upset, our parents get more hurt than us. They feel as if they are responsible for your situation so please do not hurt yourself." I stared at her, I have never thought about it in that manner. She said all of this as if she has gone through the same pain I am going through right now.

She paused, studying me but I didn't know what to reply.

"Hey, if you keep crying, you'll flood the whole city. Rain is already doing its job."

I managed a tiny sad smile.

"Come on, smile," she urged. "Your dad would want you to be happy. Unless he was a grumpy old man, then forget it."

My smile grew, remembering the smiling face of my father. He was strict yet playful, he wanted to give a positive environment for the people around him.

"You know how I think, life is? It's like a bad haircut, it hurts at first, but you get used to it. And then it grows out."A small chuckle came out from my mouth, has she come all prepared to make me smile?

"If you don't smile, I'll have to sing to cheer you up," she warned. "Trust me, you don't want that." A genuine smile was grazing my lips now.

"Your dad may be gone, but his legacy lives on like your annoying habits, for instance." She said, her eyes sparkling as she talked about life.

All I think about is how I viewed life. For me, my life has always made me feel pathetic for myself cause I have never got what I wanted. I used to curse life all the time since my birth.

The girl's gaze locked onto mine. "You can't bring him back, but you can honor his memory by living your life to the fullest. Don't waste a single day. Find a motive and continue to live your life."

Her conviction shook me awake.

"Thank you," I whispered.

The girl smiled. "Life's a gift. Don't let anyone, including yourself, take that away from you."

She stood up, gave a pat on my back with a big smile " fighting!" And left.

As the rain slowed, I realized that she was right. I can't just give up, I have a motive for my life. Those people who dared to kill my father should receive what they deserve.

I stood up with a new determination in my eyes.

{Flashback ends}

The day when we were being chased by Renior's men and the girl fell on our bonnet, I immediately recognised her.

She was her.

The stranger.

The same girl from three years ago.

I don't know how come she is in this situation but I will return my favour to her. She'll be under my protection until she recovers. She's my responsibility now.

After coming back from the shower, I got ready and headed downstairs where Nyla and my two brothers were having their breakfast while discussing something which they stopped seeing me.

" Good morning." Seokjin hyung wished me and I just gave him a smile as the servant served me breakfast.

We were busy talking, when jimin entered and greeted us " Good morning everyone."

" Good morning." Four of us said in unison.

" looks like you've officially shifted to the Kim mansion, Miss Nyla." He commented, settling himself beside me.

Nyla fake glared at him, " So What?"

" Ooh..look at the authority of our eldest sisters in law." I chuckled at his remark and Doc blushed hearing ' sister in law'.

" Yaah...Jiminah, don't call her authoritative, otherwise she'll take revenge on you when you are injured." She instantly looked at Seokjin hyung with wide eyes.

"Oh, excuse me.When did I take revenge on you?"

" Remember the night when I caught a cold.." Hyung's voice got suppressed under her hands as she shut his mouth.

"Don't you dare say that mr. Kim Seokjin or I'll tell them,What did you do to deserve that?" Hyung immediately calmed down as she threatened him. She literally has him under her control. It kinda feels so good.

" Calm down, guys. Btw hyung when are you guys getting married?" Namjoon hyung asked.

" Yeah, I also wanted to ask about that? Now that you guys are official, you should get married" Jimin said.

" Look at you talking about marriage, when are you getting married? Mia has been waiting for a while." I questioned him, teasingly.

" Yes Jimin, when are you planning to propose to her?" Doc asked, seriousness want evident in her voice.

"Guys... I have an idea, how about....four of you get married together, in the same venue." Namjoon hyung suggested.

" Actually that does seem like a good idea." I immediately agreed with him.

" Jimin, propose to her as soon as possible. So we can decide the date of the wedding." Nyla nudged him.

" I want to but..."

" But? What happened? Did you guys fight again?" I asked.

He shook his head but then gave a sad smile.

" Don't worry, I know you guys will make up soon." I patted his shoulder giving him an encouraging smile.

" Okay guys, enough of the random chatting. Let's get to work." I said in a commanding voice, standing up from the table.

I walked towards the exit of the room but then turned to Jimin, " Jimin call everyone in the basement, I have an important task for them. We're going on a mission."
