Derek and Audrey were in the burned Hale House working out when they heard car doors slamming shut causing Derek to rush forward grab Audrey and hid the both of them. "Don't make a sound Drey." Derek whispered holding his little sister tightly. By damn was he going to lose her almost lose her by hunters for a third time. They listened to the hunters until they started talking about Laura but what set Derek of was the remark about the sister he raised. "Maybe we should find Baby Hale and give her the same destiny as her sister." Kate yelled out smirking when she gained the angry roar from Derek. No one threatened his little sister and got away with it. Audrey tried to grab him be he rushed forward before she stopped him. She knew with a threat that like she needed to stay hidden but also she wanted to help her brother. Slowly she moved to look around the wall to look at her brother who discreetly shook his head telling her no to stay there. Audrey nodded hiding behind the wall again wincing every time she heard her brother get electrocuted. "We didn't kill your sister, You think I'm lying?" Audrey heard Kate stated after blocking the conversation after she said something about licking. "Wouldn't be the first time. Derek stated ready to get himself and his sister out of here. "Tsk, sweetie - Well - Why don't you just listen to my heart and tell me if I am. Okay? We - didn't - kill - your - sister. Do you hear that? There's no blips or upticks. Just the steady beat of the cold, hard truth. Found bite marks on your sister's body, Derek. What do you think did that? A mountain lion? Why aren't we helping each other out? You might as well admit what you've been guessing all along, which is - The Alpha killed your sister. And all you have to do is tell us who he is, and we'll take care of it for you. Problem solved, everybody goes home happy. Unless - You don't know who he is either. Wow. Guess who just became useless." Kate exclaimed getting ready to shoot Derek to quickly rushed up grab his sister and ran out the house only stopping when they were a good distance away. After checking that no one was behind them Derek quickly checked on his sister. "Are you ok? You didn't get hurt did you?" He rushed out making sure there was no sign of blood. The girl nodded before pulling her brother in a tight embrace like he would disappear any seconds. Derek sighed hugging her back he knew he sister was shaken up. Her worst fear was losing the one person who raised her. After she was picked up from the hospital at the age of 10 she barely left Derek's side. Before the hale fire she wasn't a mommy's girl or daddy's girl she was Derek's girl ever since she was a baby his name being her first word, So it was understandable that for her to be scared and shook up because if something happened to her brother she wouldn't know how to live he was one her of her anchors "I'm ok Drey." He reassured mumbling against the top of the girls. "We're ok." He reassured. He continued whispering reassuring words to his sister until she had finally calmed down. "I'm sorry." She mumbled pulling out of the hug and looking down knowing a Hale never shows weakness. This confused Derek because he didn't know why his sister was apologizing. "What for?" He asked as far as he knew she didn't have anything to apologize for. "For showing weakness, Hales aren't supposed to show it." She mumbled not meeting the eyes of her brother who sighed. He knew Laura had put those words into her head and he didn't want his to sister to ever think emotion were weak. He gently grabbed his sister's chin "Audrey Elizabeth Hale, it is ok to show your emotions. It makes you humans. Don't ever think showing them makes you weak cause it doesn't" he stated firmly causing the girl to nod. "Now I believe we have to get home to get ready for a Parent-Teacher meeting." He stated wrapping him arm around his sister's shoulder leading her back to the car.

Sorry for the short chapter I'm currently sick and couldn't focus well with the story.
