The Beginning Of The End

Chapter 1: New Addition

The sun had just barely illuminated the grounds as Yami made his way to the. Mansion grounds. He quickly made his way to the door, entering without knocking. He knew enough about kids and Arther to know he wouldn't be up yet, so knocking would do nothing.

He slipped into the mansion, taking in the beautiful vases of flowers and the overall beauty of the home. He wondered in, eventually finding Arther's room. This time, unlike with the front door, Yami knocked. He didn't hear anything other then a faint groan. He sighed and opened the door, preparing himself for anything that may be in there.

The room was dark and Yami had to wait a moment for his eyes to fully adjust before be took a step in. He did find himself suprised to see the room was actually very well kept. Nothing seemed terribly out of place or stread about. He allowed himself to look towards the bed, seeing the covers curled up around the boy as he heard soft rustling sounds from the bed.

"Rise and shine Arther." Yami spoke sternly as he flicked the boys lightswitch carelessly. Arther groaned, but slowly sat up. His eyes were extreamly fuzzy as he attempted to focus them on the older man. It wasn't Kakashi, he should've been gone by now, so this must be Yami. Arther fell back into the pillows of his bed as he let out another groan of distaste.

Yami ignored the clear dislike of the boy and simply stood there, looking almost impatient. He needed to get back with the students before they went crazy that he wasn't there.

"Come on Arther, time to get up so you can come meet the others. Hurry it up." Yami demanded, walking out and closing the door, deciding to wait by the front door for the young prince. Arther waited another good ten or so seconds before finally allowing himself to stand up. He sluggishly god dressed as he woke himself up more.

Eventually he made it down to where Yami was, looking more alive then before. His cat trotted beside him, clearly having the intention of following him. Arther opened his mouth to speak, but before a word could even come out Yami had his hand up.

"We got to go, you can tell me whatever you want on the way. Class shouldve started already so we're late. I'll be surprised if the kids aren't going nuts yet." Yami quickly spoke, turning on his heel and marched outside, not waiting for Arther to follow. The younger boy gave the cat a short glance before high tailing it after the older man. He could already tell this was going to be a completly different experience.

Aiya sat in her desk, bumping her left leg up and down impatiently as she looked st the clock. Class shouldve started five minutes ago. It wasn't like Yami to be late. The other five students sat in their respective desks, but didn't remain as quiet as Aiya for long.

"Hey, did you hear that were supposed to be getting a new member?" One of the other three girls asked with a soft smile. Her green eyes were sparkling with excitment as she brushed back a strand of her dark purple hair. Her hair was in two sets of thick braids that lay limply on her shoulders. Aiya raised an eyebrow at the comment.

"We are? Where did you hear that, Komori?" Aiya's curious voice escaped her lips. Before Komori could respond another one of the girls, one with dark blue hair, spoke.

"Yeah! Yami slipped up about it, I think you were in the bathroom or something." The blue haired girl quickly spoke, practically vibrating with excitment.

"I hope it's a boy! It would be so nice to have another boy other then just Flow to talk to." A boy quickly chimed in, his black and white hair falling infront of his grey eyes.

"Magna, Marium hush. Its rude to interrupt Komori!" The final girl, one with green hair, snapped. Marium and Magna poured slightly, but went silent.

"Its fine, but yes, Yami slipped up about it yesterday. Sadly that's all we know. He wouldn't elaborate on it anymore." Komori smiled thankfully at the green haired girl.
