"As she got ready for the office and passed by Christian's cabin, she noticed him and gave a friendly smile. Giselle sensed something different in his smile; his presence was comforting to her. As they continued with their work, it seemed like they genuinely enjoyed each other's company."
Giselle's POV:
'My thoughts keep lingering on him. He calls me "bubbles." Why though? Why "bubbles"? And he looks honest, not like someone who is a playboy. As I was thinking, my phone buzzed with a message."Christian asked, 'You good?' She felt a moment of comfort when he checked on her, especially after the rough night they had. She knew he was worried. On her way to the office, she struggled to conceal the hickeys and marks that adorned her neck and body - a reminder of the passionate night they shared."
"Christian then asked to meet her in the cafe near their office, to which she agreed, replying with a simple 'See you there.'"
At the cafe, as she waited for him to get the coffee, she couldn't help but admire him. Her gaze never truly left him. She stared at his figure, with broad shoulders measuring around 45cm, a slender waist, hips accentuated by his belt, and long legs that seemed to go on forever. He was a captivating sight, a maze of masculine allure.
When he eventually turned and caught her gaze, she quickly averted her eyes, her cheeks flushing with a rosy hue. Yet, she managed to regain her composure and, with confidence, she turned her face back towards him, locking her eyes onto his. His gaze met hers, and those deep, dark eyes held her captive.
As he drew nearer, closing the gap until she could feel his breath on her skin, she noticed a subtle tint of honey-brown in his eyes.
Her gaze drifted down to his lips - thin and perfectly centered, a captivating blend of red and pink. He handed her the coffee, and they sat down, facing each other, a world of unspoken emotions lingering in the air.She asked, "Why did you ask me to meet you at the cafe?"
Christian replied, "I just wanted to enjoy a coffee."
Giselle raised an eyebrow, "You could have gotten that in the office."
Christian smiled, his eyes fixed on her, "It's not just about the coffee.
i prefer this view, miss GISELLE."Giselle nodded, a hint of a smile playing on her lips, "Okay, sir."
Christian found himself wanting Giselle by his side more and more. He craved her presence, not fully aware of the feelings that were beginning to take root in his heart. Her mere existence brought him peace, and in her company, his mind cleared of all distractions and competition.
Unbeknownst to him, Christian was slowly falling for her. Her presence meant the world to him.
He yearned to win her over, not just for the sake of his ego but because he genuinely wanted to be the hero in her life, the one who could lead and protect her.
