Ahri couldn't believe that this was happening. That any of this was real. She was at a lost for words and had no shortage of tears.

Just a week ago KDA returned from their tour for their first ever album. And now?

Evelynn: The label is gone.

Akali: I know I'm still new to all of this, but I don't think this is normal.

Kai'sa: How did they go bankrupt?

Ahri just dropped to her knees as she stared at the TV screen. The girls were back at their house where they were told to watch the news.

Riot Records was no more.

Their contracts were terminated.

They were no longer making as much money as before.

They had no backing for a new album.

KDA just started, but it may already be done for.

Ahri: This can't be happening.

Oh but it can. Mostly because the CEO threw all the money away on pointless investments that ended up hurting the company rather than help it. Now everyone was out of a job.

This was the end.

Akali: Soooooooooo what happens to the house now? The label was the one paying for it, right?

And just like that, they were also homeless.

As in, they were standing in front of their former home with their stuff watching as it got demolished by a wrecking ball.

Kai'sa: This seems a bit hardcore. But at least we might be getting something neat.

As she said that, a man walked over and planted a sign into the grounds of their former home.

New Scientology Center Coming Soon!

Kai'sa: Shit.

Evelynn stared at the rubble before she turned to her best friend. Ahri was really taking this hard. She understood why. Ahri did so much to reinvent herself. And now it was all going down the drain.

And that didn't even account for the guilt she felt for dragging the others into this.

Akali: So are we living on the streets now or....

Evelynn: I have a place we can stay for a while.

Akali: Okay, cool. I was scared I might have to....you know.

Kai'sa and Evelynn stared at her with confused looks.

Kai'sa: You might have to do, what?

Akali: You know! Roxanne. You don't have to put on that red light.

Evelynn: You're not pimping yourself out.

Akali just nodded with two thumbs up. Evelynn then grabbed her bags with one hand, and grabbed Ahri's arm with her other. Ahri didn't bother to get up from the ground.

Evelynn: Come on, girls. That place I mentioned isn't too far away. We'll need to order some take out, though.

Evelynn began to walk down the street, dragging an emotionless Ahri behind her, while the others followed.

Kai'sa: So what comes next? Is there even a "next"?

The girls were gathered at Evelynn's spare apartment. Ahri was still emotionlessly laying on the floor with a blank stare. Akali was trying to feed her a piece of orange chicken with chopsticks.
