Chapter 3

Alaina's Pov

I'm broken out of the focus I had on my movie when the bell rang and Bella came over to me and helped me up. We went to the lunch room and a we a girl comes up to us and leads us to a table. Bella sits me down and kisses my head before pulling away but when she doesn't sit down I look at her confused with a slight head tilt "I'm going to get us food stay here"

I nod and watch her go before the girl catches my attention "I'm Jessica" I look at her and smile "I'm Alaina, Bellas sister" she smiles back "why were you sitting down in gym, your sister said that you love basketball" "Oh some mean girl hurt my jr and I was told I couldn't" I say as I look back at my sister who came back over completely missing the look of shock and confusion that passed over Jessica's face.

Bella looks surprised as she places my plate Infront of me and I see all kinds of meat, some fries, 1 chocolate muffin, 1 banana muffin, and a chocolate milk. I start to dig into the meat first planning on saving the muffins and milk last.

I feel Bella nudge me and I look up only to see that more people showed up out of nowhere and I jump, almost falling out of my seat. "Hi I'm Angela, I heard what happened, are you ok" I look at her startled and nodded slowly with my mouth full of food and she giggles before sitting down.

I look around the table before slowly swallowing. I look at my plate and continue were I left off and stuffed my mouth fast, once more blocking out everything around me.

My little space is shattered when I hear Bella "who are they" I look up to see Jasper, Emmet and two girls . "The Cullens" Angela says after looking who Bella was looking at.

Jessica looks and smirks "they're Dr. and Mrs.Cullens foster kids. They moved here from Alaska, like, a few years ago" she said with a weird voice.

"They kind of keep to themselves" Angela adds in. Jessica scoff "yeah, cause they're all together, like together together. The blond girl, that's Rosalie a cold hard bitch, she's the ice queen and the big dark-haired guy, Emmet. They are like, a thing."

I frown not happy about how she talked about my new friend and his girlfriend and once more Angela hops in looking a bit annoyed "jess they're not actually related"

"yeah but they live together, its weird." I look at Jessica "don't your parents live together" she looks at me shocked "well yeah but that's different" I frown at her response "how, I mean people live together when they are family or love each other and Emmet and Rosalie love each other just like you mom and dad love each other so how is it different or weird, shouldn't we be happy that they are happy and in love"

Bella and Angela look at me with a smile while Jessica looks shocked and fumbles around with her words before looking at her plate and clearing her throat.

"Right, um the little dark-haired girl is Alice, she's really weird. and she's single but is best friends with Jasper, the blond who looks like he's in pain. Everyone thought they were together but he and Alice made it clear that they are just friends and they have a sibling like relationship"

Bella at a boy coming in "who's he" Jessica looks and moves around before looking at Bella " that's Edward Cullen. He's totally gorgeous, obviously. But apparently no one here is good enough for him, like I care" she scoffs and gets a weird look when she sees Bella looking at him.

"seriously, don't waist your time" she adds and Bella looks away " I wasn't planning on it" she said clearly lying. Soon the bell wrang and I stuff my muffins in my backpack and I open and chug my milk.

Once I get to my next class I see Jasper, Alice and Rosalie sitting in the back. A man walks towards me and gently takes my paper and signs it. "you can go sit by Rosalie Hale, Miss Hale raise your hand please" I see her raise her hand and I walk over there.
